Disclaimer: Do I even need to say it?

Rika sat on the wooden frame of her window. Her eyes darted from one raindrop to the next, barely keeping up with the speed at which the rain was falling. Basking in the glow of the grey clouds, she watched as they leaked tears of joy in unison with her own. She turned her head, glancing back into the room behind her.

"Hanyuu... Do you think this is it?" Rika asked, and Hanyuu smiled.

"Why wouldn't it be? We grabbed fate without showing any sign of fear, and tore it to shreds," Hanyuu's arms gently swept the floor as she stood, and her feet made their own way towards the window. She dipped her lavender head through the frame, and into the gentle rain. Her eyes slowly drooped as she savoured the feel of it on her skin.

Rika blinked, "Miracle," She said curiously.

Hanyuu pulled her head back inside, and smiled at Rika once again. A kind gleam shown in her eyes, as she cocked her head politely.

Rika's posture slackened slightly. Her eyes darted back to overlooking the part of Hinamizawa she could see.

"Remind me... What does it take to create a miracle?" She knew very well that her question would be left orally unanswered. She heard her faint echo evaporate into the light mist, wavering before it vanished completely.

"A miracle," Hanyuu said, she had a look of pure bliss on her face. A simple feeling she hadn't had in a long time. Hanyuu felt her shoulders sag as she leaned on the wooden frame of the window.

The gears in their brains fixed the last piece of their intricate puzzle. This Hinamizawa, a miracle alone. The end of yesterday's curse, and the beginning of their long awaited tomorrow.

AN: Ho hum. I took out the old AN and rewrote, because the AN itself was actually longer than the story! WHAT A FAIL.

Hope you enjoyed it. Review?
