Prologue
The she-cat cowered in fear. The red figure started to fall out of her sight and her heart quickened, panicking for her life. She cried out in pain as she was dragged, her claws starting to bleed from clinging to the ground.
"I haven't killed anyone! Please, just let me go!" She cried, sobs in her throat. One of the cats, a big tom shoved her into the murky swamp water. Before having any time to react, the she-cat's head was pushed under the water. Fear coursed through the cat, not wanting to die. All she wanted was to go back. She started to lose her breath, falling unconscious. She struggled to see in the murky water, unable to tell the difference from the black spots from the shadows. She was scared for her sisters. Why hadn't StarClan done anything to help her? Slowly the water filled her up her lungs, stealing her breath. And with that, she died.
