Hello~! Here is my Hibiki story!
I do not own Persona 4 or Kamen Rider Hibiki.
Beat 1: The Echo Demons Arival.
It's a quiet day in a forest, birds chirping, wind blowing and waters flowing. In the forest is a bunch of middle school students on a camping trip, the students were either picking up trash or running the medical tent. Only one student decided to travel around the forest, the student was a boy and what he's seen so far is a very old tree, water flowing and a wide area with a nice view. Right now the boy is traveling through a steep part of the forest but before he knew it, it was quite foggy right now which was strange because there wasn't supposed to be any fog out here at this time of year, he was about to walk back until he felt like someone was behind him then he looked to see a man in old Japanese clothes, which caught him by surprise, he then felt a touch to the shoulder and he looked to see a woman in clothes just as old as the man.
The boy was starting to feel very nervous and he was about to walk away before he noticed the man very close to him, which made him jump back in surprise.
"Would you mind being our childs meal?" the man said in a female voice, which made the boy very scared right now, the man's clothes then disappeared and his flesh then became red and it also looks hard, he also noticed a white scarf around him. The boy looked back to see the woman doing the same thing as well, he stepped back towards a tree and he felt like was gonna die and possibly be eaten until he heard the sound of something that sounded like a bird, something slashed the man and woman by the chest, much to his relief right now, then he looked up to see a red shiny bird.
"Oni!" the man exclaimed before some fire balls landed on the ground near him.
"Dang, I missed." a voice said. The boy looked up to see that the owner of the voice but only his silohet since it was pretty foggy right now, the boy also noticed that the silohet resembles an Oni. The Oni then jumped down and started to fight the man and woman with only Taiko drumsticks, the boy was amazed at his fighting skills but then a sword grew out of one of the sticks and slashed the man and woman making them explode into leaves. The Oni silohet then looked at the boy and approached him then crouched down to his level.
"Who are you?" the boy asked as he was amazed at what he did.
"Hibiki." the Oni dubbed as Hibiki said to him.
(Years later)
A train was moving towards to a rural town called Yasoinaba, a young man was sitting train while holding a bag and looking out the window, he had pale skin, short grey bowlishaped hair and matching gray eyes, he was wearing a white long-sleeved button up shirt, with a black button up coat with a Y and I on the colar and black pants, if one can look closely, he also has three colored disks attachted to his pants. His name is Yu Narukami, the boy that Hibiki saved. Yu continued to look out the window as he spotted the mountains and wondered if there were any Makamou running amongst out there. Oh well, he'll just have to see when he gets there. But for now he just can sit back and enjoy the ride.
As the train ride went on, Yu started to feel a little weird. His head was starting to run as if something had gone off in his mind, he couldn't determine what it is...or rather, what he was seeing for that matter. Visions of a person getting killed came into his mind and then the vision of inside a limousine suddenly appeared too, inside the limo was a silver haired woman with yellow eyes and weird looking old man with a long nose. And then the visions stopped after that.
"Ah?" Yu lightly gasped and quickly recovered from the shock. 'What...was that?' He looked outside again and saw that he was almost at his stop. When the train stopped Yu stood up from his seat and grabbed his bag.
"Yasoinaba." the announcer said as Yu exited the train.
"Well, I guess this it." Yu thought to himself while walking out of the train station. 'I should be meeting my uncle, or someone here..." Ever since his parents told him that he to live in Inaba for the year, he would be living with his uncle and apparently his little cousin too who he hardly even knows, both of them for that matter.
"Hey, over here!" Yu heard someone call out to him and looked to see an older man waving at him, there was a little girl hiding behind his leg. He walked over to them seeing as they were his family members that his parents told him about.
The had gray hair and matching eyes like him, his hair was short and had a little beard on his face. He wore a gray dress shirt that's seen better days, a red tie around his neck that seems to be a little undone, and black-grayish pants too. This must be his uncle. And for the life of Yu himself; he couldn't determine this man's age considering his gray hair. Sure his hair is also the same color but thanks to his younger features, it was easy for people to tell that he's a high school student.
The girl behind him seemed no more than seven or eight at the most. She has brown hair tied in two short pigtails with hime cute bangs, and matching eyes. She wore a pink sweater, magnet skirt, and pink shoes. This must be his younger cousin.
"Well, you're more handsomer than you are in your photo." the older man said while extending his to hand to which Yu took, as the two shook hands.
"Uh...thanks, I guess..." Yu awkwardly replied seeing as though he's meeting him for the first time.
"You don't have to be so nervous around me." he assured. "Anyway, welcome to Inaba. I'm Ryotaro Dojima. I'll be looking after you. Let's see...I'm your mother's younger brother...and that about sums it up." Dojima introduced.
"It's nice to meet you." Yu said while doing some kind of salute and a 'shuu'.
"Heh." Dojima rubbed his head. "You probably don't remember, but we've met. I've even changed your diapers before you know." the older man explained how Yu met him.
"Oh, no wonder I felt like I met you before." Yu said while he rubbed his head and felt a bit embarassed while Dojima looked at the little girl and gently made her make a couple steps foward.
"This here's my daughter." Dojima said refering to the girl. "Come on Nanako, introduce yourself to your cousin." he said to the girl dubbed Nanako, who felt a bit nervous.
"Hello..." the girl dubbed as Nanako spoke in a low tone. She faintly blushed and hid behind Dojima again. It was understandable since they are meeting for the first time, and she's a little kid so he could understand.
"What are you so shy for?" Dojima chuckled in amusement. Nanako angrily smacked him behind the leg out of embarrassment. "Ow." He continued to laugh while Nanako just made a little pout noise. Well let's get going going then, my car is over there."
Yu nodded and began to follow them. Unbeknownst to him a piece of paper fell out of his pocket and a girl was passing by, notching the piece of paper had fallen off.
"Hey..." she began and Yu turned to look at her. She seemed to be around his age with neck length black hair and green eyes. She wore a white sleeveless buttoned up shirt with a black tie, red chocker, red skit with yellow and green lines making it a square shape pattern, long red and black stopped fingerless armed gloves, long black and white stripped stockings, and long black boots. From her appearance alone Yu could tell that she's wither gothic or loves to dress up that way. Either way it really didn't matter to him. "You dropped this."
Yu noticed she was holding up the piece of paper that fell out of his pocket. He checked his pockets and realized that it was the paper where he wrote down Dojima's address if chances that the older man couldn't meet him right away after leaving the train. "Thank you." He gently took the paper out of her hand and put it in his pocket.
"Whatever. All I did was pick it up and noticed it." she said. Yu stared at her for a brief moment and the the girl just left.
"What's wrong?" Dojima called out and Yu decided to forget about what just happened and went over to him and Nanako.
Yu looked out the window for a while after getting into Dojima's car.
"So uh, what do you do these days?" Dojima asked deciding to make a conversation.
"Oh uh..." Yu didn't know how to respond to that. "I play the Taiko drum and work out a lot." he said truthfully, being an Oni means working out daily and since Yu's signature weapon as an Oni is a Taiko, he also has to practice it to stay in touch with his powers.
"Well, maybe when I have the time I can see you play it." Dojima said wondering how good he is at it, he then looked at Nanako, who looked like she needed to go to the bathroom. Ah well, this car needed gas anyway so he decided to go to the nearest gas station.
(Inaba shopping district)
Dojima's car just drove up to a gas station and it parked right next to spot to fill up the car.
"Hi! Welcome to Moel!" a female attendent greeted walking up to the car.
"Can you go to the bathroom by yourself?" Dojima asked his daughter.
"Uh-huh." Nanako said before Dojima opened the car and getting out, with Nanako getting out with Yu as well, Nanako walked foward and turned her head a bit wondering where the bathroom is.
"It's in the back to your left. You know which way's left? The side where you don't hold your chopsticks in." the attendant instructed.
"I know, geez..." Nanako huffed and went off to where she was told to go.
"Are you taking a trip?" the attendant asked, curiously.
"No, we just came to pick him up. He just moved here from the big city." Dojima said as Yu simply watched them.
"The city, huh?" the attendant said intrigued. Yu noticed that she was looking at him and stared back. Somehow he was getting an odd feeling from her.
"Fill up my car while you're at it. The regular is fine." Dojima said.
"Right away, sir!" the attendant enthusiastically said.
"Good time's any for a smoke." Dojima uttered and went off somewhere to have a quick smoke.
"Are you in high school?" the attendant asked focusing her attention on Yu now, who just looked at her and decided to play it casual.
"Yeah, I am..." he replied.
"Does it surprise a city boy to see how little it is out here?" she asked.
"No, not really. I don't always spend my time in the city all that much expect for school and stuff. I mostly just hang out in the woods and do a little hiking from time to time, even camping too." Yu said not wanting the impression that he's a city boy who doesn't like rural places like Inaba.
"Oh, I see. That's interesting." the attendant smiled. "Well anyway, there is a little to do here so you might find yourself going off into the woods from time to time. But you might get bored pretty fast, all you can do is hang out with friends or work part-time. Oh that's right! Speaking of which, we're actually looking for part-time help right now! If you're interested then maybe..."
"Sorry." Yu interjected. "But I just got here and I'm still getting to know my uncle and cousin, so I don't know if I can find the time to look for work anytime soon. Plus, I'm only here for a year anyway. So I won't be here for long."
"Oh, okay...But at least give it some thought, alright? We don't mind if your student." the attendant smiled and placed up her hand for a handshake. Yu looked at her quite suspiciously not knowing if he should trust this person or not. There was something about her that is giving him the wrong signal but he decided to ignore it for now. And not wanting to to be rude, he accepted the handshake as they shook on it.
Nanako had came back from the bathroom when they broke off their handshake.
"Oh, I should get back to work." the attendant went off to go do her job.
Yu watched the attendant go off and didn't notice that his cousin was looking at him. Soon he felt a twitch of pain in his head. 'What the...? It's just like before, when I was on the train.'
"Are you okay...?" Yu broke out of his thoughts and looked down at Nanako who looked at him slightly worried. "Did you get carsick? You don't look too good."
Yu was starting to feel a bit woozy. He wondered if it could have been from the long trip here or perhaps it was due to battling a huge Makamou a little before his trip began. Anyway, he can't just jump to conclusions while he's here. He did just arrive after all.
Dojima noticed the two and made his over to them and noticed Yu feeling a woozy. "What's wrong? You okay?"
"I'm just tired." Yu said not wanting to worry his uncle.
"That's understandable, it must have been a long trip for you." Dojima said to his nephew. "Why not take a little walk, get some fresh air? Just let me know when you're ready to go." he suggested. Yu thought about it, it could be a good opertunity to learn about this town's area and maybe get some Disk Animals to search for Makamou.
"All right." Yu nodded before walking a bit, he looked to his right to see some lazy looking student waiting for a bus, which is good to go to the woods from here, Yu then walked left to see more of the district, although he could have sworn he saw a glowing butterfly, he walked around a bit more to see an alleyway with no people, which is good to release some Disk Animals.
Yu walked towards the alleyway and brought out an upside down tuning fork with a Oni face in the center, he flipped the metal part of it making it into a proper tuning fork then brought out his disks and tapped the tuning fork on a wall making visible soundwaves. Yu then hovered the tuning fork above the three disks, shaping them into a red hawk, a light blue wolf and a green gorilla.
"Good luck." Yu said doing his salute before the disk animals turned invisible and started searching for a Makamou.
After sending the Disk Animals off in search of a Makamou and letting his uncle know that he was feeling better again, they got inside the car again and drove along the road. Soon the came to a stop and parked the car near a house that seemed to be where they live. Once they got out of the car and made their way towards the house, Doijima opened the door since he had the key. Both he and Nanako walked inside first as Yu looked at the house feeling a little uneasy.
'I'll be living here for a the next year, huh?' Yu sighed. 'Oh well, might as well make the most of it before I have to go off somewhere again...' He walked inside the house.
The time had passed so quickly that it was already into the evening. Yu wondered how the Disk Animals were doing since they've been gone for quite a while. Well anyway, he was sitting on his knees in the table with a juice and sushi in front of him. Yu and Nanako had juice and of course his uncle was having a beer. Jeez, he smokes and drink...
"All right, let's have a toast." they took a sip of their respective drinks and placed their cups down. Dojima looked at Yu. "So your mom and dad are as busy as always...they're working overseas, right?"
"That's right." Yu nodded.
Dojima nodded. "I know it's only for a year, but getting stuck in a place like this because of your parents..It's rough being a kid."
'If you think that's rough then try out the Oni training, THAT was rough. Plus hunting and fighting Makamou is tough too, until you get used to it after a while though...' thought Yu remembering how his muscles would sore after the intense work outs.
"Well it's only been Nanako and myself here, so it'll be nice to have you around. And so as long as you're here, you're apart of the family now-so make yourself at home." Dojima said looking at him with a serious look meaning every word he said.
Yu thought about it and wondered if it would be alright to stay here with them. And family...before becoming an Oni, Yu hardly spent any time with his own parents because they were busy with work all the time. The only family he's ever come to know was his master, the original Hibiki who trained him. Seeing that Dojima was still looking at him, he deiced to answer.
"Thank you for your kindness." he respectively bowed.
Dojima chuckled a bit. "C'mon, there's no need to be so formal." he said knowing that Yu is a bit happy since his parents never got to spend time with him. "Look, you're making Nanako all tense."
Yu smiled a bit. "Yeah I guess I am." he said while doing his salute.
"Well anyway, let's eat." Dojima said, the three was about to eat but then Dojima's cell phone rang which made him groan a bit. "Who's calling at this hour?" he said before he grabbed his cell phone and answered it. "Dojima speaking..." Yu watched the man stand up from the floor and paced over to the kitchen side of the room. "Yeah. I see...Okay, where is it?" Whatever he was talking about it must have been important. "Alright, I'm on my way." Ending the call on his phone Dojima sighed. "Looks like I made the right call by skipping the booze."
Yu curiously rose a brow and then looked at Nananko who slightly put her head down. She looked a little sad and disappointed from what he can tell. Apparently he wasn't the only one with parents who work a lot. "What's wrong?" he decided to ask.
"Oh uh...sorry, but I gotta go take care of some business. Go ahead and eat without me." Dojima said.
Nanako stood up. "Do you when you'll be back?"
"I don't know how late I'll be. Nananko, you help out your cousin, okay...?"
"Okay..." the young girl replied as Dojima started to head out the door. When the door slid open there was rain outside.
"Nanako, it's raining out here! What did you do with the laundry?" Dojima called out.
"I brought it in already." she answered.
"Okay thanks! Well, I'm off!" And just like that he left the house. It got quiet for a moment before Nanako turned on the TV.
"-for this week. Next, let's take a look at the hourly breakdown of tomorrow's weather." the female weather announcer said. "With storm clouds moving in from the west, expect rain throughout the day in most areas.
'And that's gonna be a tiny bit dificult for Makamou to eat people in the rural areas if it's raining, I hope my Disk Animals will be okay.' Yu thought in worry.
"Let's eat." Nanako said breaking Yu out of his thoughts. Yu looked at Nanako for a brief moment before he decided to start a conversation.
"So uh, what does your dad do...?" Yu asked wondering what Dojima's job is.
"He...investigates stuff, like crime scenes." Nanako said.
"A detective, huh? So that's what he is." Yu inwardly sighed in annoyance thinking it would be tough to do his job as an Oni, since his uncle is a detective of all things. On the bright side, it might not be all that bad since he'll rarely ever be at home. So it should work out as long as he plays his cards right. One wrong move and questions will be flying in the air, thus causing a suspicion towards him.
"Yeah.." she nodded and looked back at the TV.
"And now for the local news." Yu silently watched TV deciding that he should at least know what's going on. An image of a man with buzz cut hair wearing a suit came on. He seemed to be a little older than Dojima probably in his mid forties or so. "City council secretary, Taro Namatane is under fire for alleged relationship with a female reporter." Afterwards the image of a beautiful woman with red lipstick wearing a red kimono, with her black hair tied up in a large bun showed up. "His wife, enka ballad sensation Misuzu Hiiragi, revealed to this station that she will likely purchase damages. In response Eye Television decided to cancel all of announcer, Mayumi Yamano's televised appearances." And then another woman with short black hair wearing a white shirt appeared next. "Until allegations of an affair with Mr. Namatame are resolved, she will remain off the air and public eye."
"This is boring." Nanako leaned forward to get the remote control and changed the channel.
Yu watched the channel change and saw that it was a Junes commercial.
"At Junes, everyday is Customer Appreciation Day. Come see for yourself, and get in touch with our product! Everyday is great at your Junes~!" Yu blinked at the commercial and noticed Nanako was moving around.
"Everyday is great as your Junes~!" Yu blinked at her as she sang along to the song.
'So there really is a Junes department store here...' he thought before Nanako spoke.
"Aren't you going to eat?" She curiously blinked at him.
Yu nodded. "Yeah." Picking up the chopsticks he started to eat.
After dinner, Yu decided to turn in for the night since school starts the next day and he'll be living in this town for a year starting today, but he wonders if everything will be all right though since there's gonna be Makamou eating people and all. Oh well, if things are getting a bit dificult, he can give a call to some of his master's friends in the organization he works at called Takeshi. Yu was about to go to bed but he heard some tapping on his window and saw his Disk Animals outside, he opened the window to let them in then they did.
"You guys find anything?" Yu asked, instead of an answer they turned into their disk forms and was caught by Yu, he grabbed his Onsa Onkaku, which was on the table in his room and opened it then placed his red disk at the center before closing it and spun it around making a soundwave that Yu understood, he got nothing on it so he did the same thing on the other two disks and he still got nothing. "Ah well, we can try again tomorrow." he said before placing the Disk Animals and Onkaku on the table before laying down in his futon then going to sleep.
(Dream(?))
Yu lightly groaned while slowly opening his eyes. He felt his head spin before getting up to shake it off. Then he realized something, he wasn't in his room or on his bed. "Huh?" He blinked looking around where he was at. There was nothing but thick fog everywhere he couldn't even see a thing at all, except for the floor that seemed to be red made up of blocks or something. "Where am I...?" Seeing that he wasn't going to get any answers he decided to press forward knowing this may be his dream, a weird one at that. "I might as well go forward."
When Yu took the first step he heard something. "Do you seek the truth?" There was a voice that spoke inside the fog making Yu slightly narrow his eyes, looking around to see where the voice was coming from. "If it is the truth you seek, then come and find me."
"Who are you? Show yourself!" Yu reached into his jacket to bring out his Onsa Onkaku but realized that his transformation device wasn't on him at the moment. "Damn..." He sighed knowing that he'd have to keep going. "Oh well, I can still fight on my own." Checking his clothes to see if he had anything on him that might serve as a weapon there was his Rekka and oddly a sword too. At first he questioned where it came from but thought it was nothing seeing as it might serve some purpose to him.
Yu continued to run up ahead the road as he reached a large red block that seemed to be in his way, but noticed the white patterns it had and that they were glowing. This must be the way to where the voice was coming from. "Looks like I'll find my answer through here." Putting his hand up against the white square in the middle, a sudden entrance opened up and Yu walked inside.
Yu now found himself in an area which is more foggy then the path, he then noticed a silohet of a person despite the fog here.
"So... You are the one pursuing me..." the figure said in a male voice, Yu got the sword he was carrying out and got into a combat stance, despit the fact it's very foggy, he can still fight, the figure then chuckled a bit. "Try all you like..." he said. Yu then charged at the figure and made an attempt to hit him with the edge of his sword, since he might be a human and it's against his honer code as an Oni to kill a human. The figure then easily dodged his sword and punched Yu in the chest which mad him back off a bit, Yu then threw away his sword and made an attempt to punch the figure but he blocked it then tried to punch Yu but he blocked it as well, the two then began to trade blows and Yu had to admit, he's good. The figure tried to punch Yu in the chest but he used his hand to block it. "Hmmm... It seems that you can see a little, despite the fog." the figure said before Yu threw his hand away and ran for his sword, which he can see despite the fog.
"It's because I'm well trained." Yu simply told him before taking a stance.
"Is that so?" Amused and intrigued by the proclaim of Yu being trained well, the figure decided to test him even more on that part seeing that he did well this far. "Then enlighten me, and show me how well train you really are."
"Gladly." Yu charged towards the figure as he rose his sword up and swung down the blade at him, however the figure caught it with his hand slightly surprising Yu wondering how a human (or if he even was human) can catch the deadly blade of a sword with his bar hand? It made no sense at all. If he was a Makamou or one of the Douji and Hime, then it would make sense...but who heck is this person? No, not who, but what he is more likely the question he wanted to have answered the most. Well...seeing as though he couldn't get the answers right away he might as well fight and defeat him first.
A small smirk appeared on his lips. "You fell for it." Yu placed his foot against the figure's shoulder and leaped into the air, pulling out his Rekka which enveloped in flames.
"What!?" The figure gasped in shock, surprised that Yu had another weapon up his sleeves. Examining the drum sticks with his eyes, he thought said weapon would be a dumb tool to use since it was mainly for playing the drum; but then again certain things can be used in the most unlikely ways if one had the imagination of course. And to see the tip being enveloped in flames caught his curiosity and piqued his interest despite the fact Yu is going to fire them at him.
Yu shot his fireballs from the Rekkas and made contact with the figure, a cloud of smoke from the attack appeared despite the fog lightly tinting it. Slowly making his way over to where the figure stood, Yu wondered if he caught him and knocked him out; the attack on those fireballs were enough to render someone unconscious and not kill them. Sure there could be a degree burns that will hurt like hell, but at least he'll still be alive.
"I see." Yu widen his eyes quickly turning around to see the figure standing across from him again. "This information is very interesting, indeed..." Enveloping his Rekka in flames again Yu launched two more fireballs at the mysterious figure, smoke emitted once the attack made contact either with him or the ground it didn't matter. Yu dashed into the smoke and switched weapon, Rekka in his jacket and taking the sword out of his jacket and swung down at where the figure stood. "However, you will not catch me so easily."
Yu jumped back from the figure as he unleashed furies of punches towards him. Thankfully being trained as an Oni meant he can see the attacks even without his transformation, Yu managed to dodged every attack and swing his blade towards his opponent who leaped back. "Seems as though I almost got you that time and soon...it won't be long before I can land a direct hit."
The figure chuckled in amusement. "True. I knew you would be interesting but not this intriguing, I'm actually glad that my expectations of you were incorrect and that you provided me with so much fun. Of course, exceeding my past expectations was a bonus on my part."
"What are you getting at?" Yu dropped his guard sensing that this fight is practically over now.
"If what you seek is the "truth", then your search will be even harder..." Yu leaped in the air and dropped down to launch his sword down at his enemy, who simply stepped to the side as Yu lunged a kick to the side which the figure evade and jumped over him, landing across him once again. "Everyone sees what they want to see." And if my magic or this guy's own free will the fog actually did start to get thicker than it was before. "The fog only deepens." Yu dropped his guard again sensing that the fight is really over this time. "Will we meet again? At a place other than here...? From what you've shown me so far, I would say so. Until then I look forward to out next meeting."
Yu noticed the figure wasn't here anymore. He wanted go and chase after him but then a heavy sensation fell upon his very being, the heaviness grew even further his eyes were starting to close as he lost his consciousness.
(Reality - Tuesday 4/12)
Yu wakes up from the dream he was in, he then sat up looking around a bit until he remembered he was at his uncle's home, he then stoof up and grabbed his Disk Animal's which were on the table and his Onsa Onkaku, he then flipped the metal part of it then tapped it on the table and the soundwaves appeared, he hovered it above the Disk Animals and they turned into their animal form once again.
"Good luck." Yu said before he opened the window and it was still raining, the Disk Animals then jumped (or flew in the Madder Hawks case) out the window then turned invisible, he then heard a knock on the door.
"Breakfast's ready." he heard Nanako's voice telling him that it's time to eat.
"Alright." Yu said before changing out of his pajama's. After getting changed into his school uniform Yu walked inside the kitchen only to see Nanako putting down a plate of sunny side eggs and sausage on the table. There was a smaller plate with toast next to it as well, and another identical plate across from that one already made. In his eyes the food looked delicious and no doubt his cousin cooked it.
"Good morning." Nanako greeted.
"Morning." Yu greeted and sat down on the chair. When he did toast popped up from the toaster.
"Let's eat." Nanako started to dig in and so did Yu.
Dojima apparently wasn't here so he was left alone with his cousin again. It still felt awkward that Yu has to strike up a conversation with her, since they're still trying to get to know each other as family members although long distant, of course... So he decided to ask the question he already knew himself. "Say uh...Nanako, do you do the cooking around here?" It was better than to ask if her father was out already knowing his job keeps him busy away from home.
"I can toast bread...and sunny side up eggs in the morning." she began. "Dad can't cook, so I buy dinner."
"I see. I bet he leaves you a few extra bucks laying around here, just so you can get yourself something huh?" Yu said.
"He does. Oh that's right, you're starting school today, aren't you?"
"I am..."
"My school is on the way, so...let's walk together." Nanako lightly smiled.
Yu noticed that she seemed to be a little restless. It could be due to having do stuff like this while her dad is away, and the fact that she's still a little kid too. They silently ate their breakfast, put it in the sink, brushed their teeth, and then left the house.
Yu was glad that he brought his umbrella today because it was raining right now. Nanako also brought hers too. The boy noticed there a few other students that walked ahead of him.
"You keep going straight from here. My school is this way." Nanako turned around to the direction where her school was at. "Bye." Leaving Yu alone in the middle of the road, he simply watched her leave while waving goodbye at her.
Unbeknownst to Yu he was being watched by a mysterious cloaked figure up on a telephone pole, starting down at him watching his every movement.
Yu was walking in the school zone peacefully while the rain dropped down, as he was walking he saw a student riding on a bike in the rain while holding an umbrella, the student was obviously losing control of the bike, a few seconds later the student lost control of the bike and crashed into a phone pole which also hurt his... well, manhood.
Yu walked over to the student who is now in pain while holding his lower half and he was groaning in pain.
'I'll just leave him be.' Yu thought before walking his way to school.
(Yasogami High-Classroom)
"Talk about bad luck. The homeroom teacher here is Morooka again, isn't it?" groaned a student sitting his chair.
"Yeah it's King Moron alright...And we get to enjoy his long-ass sermons everyday for the next year." another male student said.
"Hey you guys, I heard there's going to be student from the city in this class." a female student brought up, changing the topic that the worst teacher in history is going to be teaching their class again.
"Huh, really...?" the student sitting his desk curiously asked. "Who is it? A guy or a girl?"
While the three were talking amongst themselves, they were unaware that another trio of students were listening in on them.
"A transfer student from the city. Sounds just like you, doesn't it Yosuke?" said a girl with short brown hair and matching eyes, she wore a green tracksuit sweater with yellow lines and the girl's school skirt. "Huh...? You look dead today."
The student who Yu saw crash on the ground with his bike earlier is a teen with shaggy brown hair and eyes. He was laying on his desk still recovering from the pain earlier. "Yeah, um...I don't wanna talk about it."
"What's with him?" the short haired girl asked another girl, who was around the same age as her and Yosuke. She has black hair styled in a hime fashion with a red band on her head, and has gray eyes. Like her friend, she didn't wear the same school uniform as everyone else as hers' is red.
"Who knows?" she replied. That was when the slide door opened and the teacher came in with Yu, he's a middle aged man with straight black hair in a bob-cut, hazel eyes, and buck teeth, he's wearing a dark navy suit with white lines, white collar long-sleeved shirt with a yellow-and-light orange checkered tie.
"Awright, shut your traps!" the teacher rudely said which made all the students be quiet. "I'm Kinshiro Morooka, your homeroom teacher from today foward!" he said which made some students groan in annoyance.
'I guess he's not well respected.' Yu thought.
"First things first!" Mr. Morooka started. "Just 'cause it's spring doesn't mean you can swoon over each other like love-struck baboons. Long as I'm around, you students are going to be pure as the drivin snow!" he finished which made Yu rose a brow, during he's training with his master, Hitoshi Hidaka the Hibiki before him, he was a teacher that only wanted help his fellow Oni improve, Yu learned that being a teacher means improving people in good ways and CLEARLY this man Morooka is setting a bad example. "Now I hate wasting my time, but I better introduce this transfer student. This sad sack's been thrown from the big city out to the middle of nowhere like yesterday's garbage. And he's just as much as loser here as he was there, so you girls better not get any ideas about hitting on him!" Everyone frowned at Morooka. "Now hurry up and tell them your name kid, and make it quick!"
"I'm Yu Narukami, nice to meet you..." Yu introduced bowing to his new classmates before slightly glaring at the teacher. "...You calling me a loser?" With some venom in his tone the older man immediately glared at him as a vein popped out of his head.
"That's it, you're on my shit list! Effective immediately!" Mr. Morooka growled. "This town is miles away from your bug city of perverts and assholes, in more ways than one. You better not think of getting involved with any of the girls here, let alone abuse them!"
'This guy seriously has major issues.' Yu kept his composure knowing if he lets him ramble on, he'll finally stop and get on with his so-called teaching as he puts it. More like drill sergeant authority...
"But what do I know...it's not like old days. Even here, kids grow up so damn fast. Every time I turn my back, you're always on those damn phones, checking your life-journals and your my-places..." Yu sighed as he and the rest of the class listen to him go on and on.
"Excuse me! Is it okay if the transfer student sits here?" said a brown haired girl with her hand raised.
"Huh?" Mr. Morooka blinked before waving it off. "Yeah, sure. Ya here that? Your seat's over there. So hurry up and siddown already!"
Yu silently walked over to his seat next to the brown haired girl. 'Douche.'
"He's the worst huh?" the brown haired girl whispered to Yu.
"Yeah." Yu whispered back with a nod.
"Rotten luck for you to get stuck in this class..." the brown haired girl said with some sympothy. "Well, we just have to hang in there for a year." she finished whil Yu nodded, he now can hear people talking about him.
"Sucks to be the transfer student, ending up in King Moron's class on the first morning here..." a male student pitied.
"Yeah, he won't think twice about suspending you if you get on his bad side..." a whiny female student said. "Then again, we're all in the same boat..."
'Yup. Totally disrespected teacher with a very bad example.' Yu thought.
"Shut your traps! I'm taking roll here, and I damn well expect you to respond in an orderly manner!" Mr. Morooka said.
Yu sighed wondering if the universe is now teaching him about absolute patient seeing as this guy is testing all of them in that instead of anything else. So for the next year he's stuck with this teacher along with a bunch of other students, he has yet to know. And his school life here is just beginning.
(After School)
"That's all for today. Normal lectures will start tomorrow." Mr. Morooka said giving ever student the best news that they've heard from this guy's mouth all day. Everyone was about to get ready to leave until the announcements came on.
"Attention, all teachers. Please report immediately to the Faculty Office for a brief staff meeting. All students must return to their classroom and are not to leave the school until further notice." said the announcer causing the teacher to groan.
"You heard the announcement. Don't go anywhere until you hear otherwise." And with the Mr. Morooka left the class much to everyone's relief.
Yu questioned what was going on until they all heard police sirens outside of the school. Three students ran over to the window to see what was going on. It was unfortunate that they beat him to it, but it might a good thing since he's already showing a serious demeanor knowing that something is going on. If the other students were to see him this way it would only cause more questions, and that's the last thing he needed right now.
"Did something happen? Don't those siren sound really loud?" a male student questioned. "Ugh, I can't see a damn thing. Freakin' fog..."
"Yeah, like every time it's been raining a lot lately, and it's foggy too afterwards." another male student said.
"Hey, did you hear? I hear that paparazzie's looking all over for that announcer." a third male student said.
"Oh yeah, you mean Mayumi Yamano, right?" the second male student responded. "I heard some guys in the shopping district spotted her."
"Actually, I heard that..." Yu narrowed his eyes as they were talking about Mayumi Yamano, the announcer and ex-wife of that Namatane guy who cheated on her. The two students who were talking about it where whispering it to each other now, so Yu couldn't hear what they were saying.
"What are you serious!?" the second male student exclaimed in shock. Yu noticed that something was important if he acted like that. So the student made his way over to the black haired girl wearing red. "Hey Yukiko-san, mind if I ask you something...? Is it true that announcer is staying at your family's Inn."
"I can't discuss such things..." the girl known as Yukiko said looking distressed. That answer's the question at least.
"Y-Yeah, I guess you're right..." and with that he left her alone and joined his friends. That was when the brown short haired girl walked up to Yukiko and sighed.
"Seesh, how much longer is this gonna take?" the brown haired girl said.
'I can relate to that.' Yu thought still waiting for his Disk Animals to find the Makamou.
"There's no telling." Yukiko said.
"I should have left before the announcement came on..." the girl said before she remembered something. "By the way, didja try what I told you the other day?" she asked, which caught Yu's curiosity and decided to listen, Yukiko tilted her head a bit. "You know... That thing about rainy nights..." she said which made Yu wonder about what she means.
"Oh..." Yukiko realized. "No, not yet. Sorry." she apologized.
"Ahh, that's okay." the brown haired girl assured. "It's just, I heard a guy in the class next door yell something like, 'My soulmat is Yamano, the announcer!'" she told her friend, Yu rose a brow at that, what kind of rumor lead to one person about Yamano being his soulmate? Now that was something suspicious which he's gotta check out later, after beating a Makamou that is. He was about to come up to the two but then the announcement came back on.
"Attention all students. There has been an incident inside the school district. Police officers have been dispatched around school zone. Please stay calm and contact your parents or guardians, as soon as possible; and quickly leave school grounds. Do not disturb the officers and head directly home. I repeat..." The suspicion from earlier grew even more and caused a little panic throughout the class room.
'Just as I e police are here after all, so that must mean Dojima is here as well or is perhaps somewhere around the area knowing that I'm here. What's going on...? And where the Disk Animals when I need them?" Yu sighed with a hint of frustration as he looked up at the clock.
"Incident!" one girl shouted.
"What, something actually happened?" a random brown haired girl said. "C'mon, let's go take a look!"
Yu looked out the window wondering if this is Makamou related or not. If it is then he has to step in and take action for himself.
About half an hour later everything seemed to have calmed down somewhat and the students were allowed to leave the school and go home. Yu was getting ready to leave as he packed all of his notes and stuff. When he was about to get up from his desk, the brown hair girl wearing the green track-suit sweeter and her black haired friend wearing red approached him.
"Hey, are you going home by yourself?" the brown haired girl asked.
"Yeah, I am." Yu responded.
"Why don't you come with us?" she smiled and then realized something. "Oh, I nearly forgot! I'm Chie Satonaka. You know I sit next to you, right?"
"Of course...you were the one who assisted I take the seat next you." Yu recalled.
"Nice to meet you." Chie smiled.
"And this is my friend, Yukiko Amagi." Yu glanced at Yukiko who lightly waved at him.
"Oh, nice to meet you...I'm sorry this so sudden." Yukiko said.
"C'mon, don't apologize like that. It makes me look like I got no upbringing." Chei said.
"No worries." Yu spoke up. "I actually deal with similar stuff like this, so I'm already used to it."
With her interest raised even further than it was before Chie chuckled. "Hope you don't mind if I ask you a few question, right?"
"Sure." nodded Yu as the three began to walk together towards the door. When they were about to reach it the same boy, who Yu saw fall on his bike earlier this morning came up to them holding a DVD cover.
"Umm, miss Satonaka...?" he nervous began. Yu immediately sensed that this wasn't going to go well for him. "This was really awesome. Like, the way they moved was just amazing to see." Chie looked confused and he bowed presenting the DVD cover to her. "And...I'm really sorry! It was an accident!" There it is...He must have broken the disk inside most likely. "Please have mercy until my next pat check!"
'He must have screwed something up.' Yu thoughtas he watched Chie take the DVD box.
"See ya! Thanks!" the bleak-looking student said before he quickly walked away in a hurry.
"Stop right there!" Chie said before approaching him. "What did you do to my DVD!?" she said before kicking him in the manhood which made him stop.
"Argh!" the brown haired student said before holding his manhood in pain. Chie opended the box and she had a shocked look on her face.
"What the!? I can't believe this! It's completely cracked..." she said before Yu looked over her shoulder to see that it's a cracked kung-fu DVD. "My 'Trial of the Dragon'...!" she exclaimed which made Yu step away from her and sigh.
'You can buy another one, accidents happen like this one.' Yu thought.
"I think mine's cracked too..." the student said refering to his nuts. "C-Critical hit to the nads..."
"A-Are you alright?" Yukiko asked in a worried tone.
"Oh, Yukiko-san..." the student said. "Are you worried about me...?" he asked before a comical red vain appeared on Chie's head.
"He's fine, Yukiko." Chie said.
'No he's actually not.' Yu thought.
"Let's ditch him and go home." Chie said before putting the box in her backpack and walking away with Yukiko. Yu then watched the bleak-looking student jump in pain while holding his manhood.
'I'll just leave him be.' Yu thought before walking out of the classroom.
As Yu was getting to know the two girls next to him, they were outside about to head out the school gate until a creepy looking boy came out.
He has black hair the seemed to be a little wavy with dead black eyes, a mole on his right cheek, and wore a black suit with a green tie obviously a school uniform because of the emblem on his suit.
"You're Yuki, right?" Yu got a bad vibe from this guy. "Y-You wanna go hang out somewhere?"
"What...? Wh-Who are you?" Yukiko asked surprised that this guy is asking her to hang out, she's never ever seen or met him before until now.
Yu heard footsteps coming from behind them and lightly turned his eyes, shifting his eyes to see two male students looking at them. "What's up with him? What school is he from?" a male student asked.
"Never mind that, he's going after Yukiko-san? Man, you'd at least think he wait until she's alone to make a move...I bet you a can of TaP he gets knocked out."
"No bet. Haven't you ever heard how difficult the Amagi challenge is?"
"U-um, so...are you coming or not?" the odd boy asked.
"I'm not going..." Yukiko answered.
The odd boy looked a little angry. "...Fine!"He ran off.
"Wh-What did he want from me?" Yuiko wondered.
'Are you serious, you obviously couldn't tell he wanted a date with you?' Yu thought while looking at the girl.
"What did he want...? Obviously, he was asking you out on a date." Chie explained.
"Huh? Really...?" Yukiko sounded a little surprised.
'She really had no idea?' Yu wondered.
"You really had no clue? Sheesh. But then again, that was way creepy over the top. It was even creepier how he called you "Yuki" all of a sudden."
Yu heard the sound of bike coming their way and looked to see that shaggy brown haired boy, who accidentally broke Chie's movie disk. "Yo, Yukiko-san. Turned down another lovelorn fool, huh?" He rested his bike on the wall. "Man, you're cruel...You got me the same way last year."
"I don't recall doing that." she replied.
"Whoa, you serious?" And here it comes she's going to reject him next. "So then, you wanna hang out sometime?"
"I'd rather not." Yukiko said.
'Called it.' Yu looked at them not saying a single word yet.
"That'll teach me to get my hopes up." Yosuke sheepishly smiled.
'You think...?'
"Anyways, you two better not pick on the new transfer student too much." Yosuke rode away on his bike afterwards.
A vein popped on Chie's head as she stomped forward and raised a fist. "We're just curious is all!"
"U-Um...I'm sorry for dragging you into this." apologized Yukiko.
More students started to appear and stared at them.
"C'mon, let's go. Everyone's staring." Chie suggested starting to walk off.
Yu and Yukiko traded glances and the girl looked nervous looking away from him, then followed after her friend. Yu shrugged it off and followed.
The three are now walking in the school zone, Yu was also just telling them about why he's here.
"Ah... so you came here because of your parents' job." Chie said.
'And me fighting a Makamou, but I could not tell you that since it's secret.' Yu thought.
Chie chucled a bit. "I thought it was something way more serious." She said before remebering something. "You said you've delt with similar to upbringings right?"
"Yeah." Yu nodded. "But that ones a trade secret though."
"Alright." Chie said before looking at a rural area to their left and then looking at Yu again. "There really is nothing here huh?"
'Actually, there is something there, somewhere.' Yu thought refering to a Makamou.
"That's what makes it nice, but there is nothing much we can show to people from the outside."
'You make it sound like we're all prisoners here in this town.' From the way how Chie was saying it almost sounded as though they were stuck in a prison. Well, that is understandable since the outside of this town is just plain and ordinary. Bur from what Yu has seen he'd rather prefer this instead of fighting sometimes.
"Though, there is something from Mt. Yasogami...I think our dyed clothes, pottery, or something is kind of famous." After hearing the words "Mt. Yasogami" Yu immediately took interest in this seeing that the mountain is where the Makamou are residing at. Plus, it could mean that his target is there.
"Oh, wait! There is also the Amagi Inn! Yukiko's family runs it. It's the pride of Inaba."
"It's...just an old Inn." Yukiko replied seeing that her family Inn is just an ordinary place in an ordinary town.
Chie turned her head to Yukiko. "No way, it's been in all sorts of magazines as a hidden treasure.
"Hidden treasure?" Yu wondered.
"It's a great Inn! It's been going for generations, and Yukiko here is going to take over someday. Their Inn actually attracts a lot of visitors to Inaba. It pretty much keeps this town going."
"I don't think so..." Yukiko said.
Chie wore a mischievous grin. "So, tell me...You think Yukiko's cute, huh?"
"Huh?" Yu blinked wondering why Chie was asking him that. Why would he think that Yukiko is cute? Well in truth, she is good looking and it's no wonder why the boys are after her. But he just met her today and this is only his second day in this town. Plus, he has a job to do so there isn't a enough room to start dating yet. Deciding to take a look at Yukiko not seeing anything special, Yu shrugged. "It's hard to say...""Ohh, sorry. I didn't mean to put you on the spot right there in front of her." Chie said while Yukiko looked down in embarrassment.
"Come on... Don't start this again." the black haired girl said with a bit of embarrassment.
"She's really popular at school, but she's never had a boyfriend. Kinda weird huh?" Chie said not listening to her.
"C-Come on, stop it."
'I think Chie's just teasing her.' Yu thought.
"Y-You shouldn't believe that, okay? It's not true that I'm popular or that I've never had a boyfriend!" Yukiko said trying to deny that fact. To Yu, it sounds like she did not want to be popular in the first place. "Wait, n-no! What I meant to say was, I-I don't need a boyfriend!"
'Yep, she's embarassed all right.' Yu thought also thinking how cute that reaction was.
"Geez... Chie!" Yukiko sighed at her friend.
Chie then laughed a bit. "Sorry, I'm sorry. But this is our chance to talk to someone from the big city, and you barely said a word!" She said.
'That brown haired guy looked like a city kid though.' Yu thought before he noticed Chie noticing something.
"Hey, what's that?" Chie said as Yu looked to see what she saw and he, along with the two girls, walked foward to see a few people and a couple of police cars.
"So that high schooler left school early, and she came down this street..." a female civilion said as Yu decided to listen in on what's going on.
"Wow. Who could imagine THAT hanging from an antenna?" another civilion said.
'Hanging from an antenna?' Yu thought.
"I wanted to see it too." the same civilion said.
"Uh, you got hear too late... The police and fire department took it down a moment ago." the 2nd civilion said.
'What could that thing be?' Yu thought while raising a brow.
"Well, I think it's terryfying. I can't believe a dead body showed up around here..." the 1st civilion said, surprising the three highschool students.
"Wait.." Chie started. "What did she say? A dead body!?" Chie exclaimed if she heard it correctly.
Yu, Chie, and Yukiko watched the towns people talk amongst each other as the boy noticed that Doijma is here. Apparently the older man noticed him and walked his way over.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Dojima was sure the head of the police department told the principal not to let any of the students walk around this area due to what happened at the school earlier.
"We were just passing through." Yu told his uncle not lying on this one, since they were just passing by.
"Oh...of course. I should have figured that would happen." Dojima sighed. "That damn principal. We told him not to let them through here."
"...You know this guy?" Chie asked wondering how the new transfer student knows this detective.
"He's my uncle." Yu answered.
"I'm Detective Dojima, his guardian. Uh...well, how should I say this...I hope you get along with him." Dojima said hoping these two girls will be friends with his nephew since he's still new here and everything. Taking a moment to collect himself, the detective got down to business seeing that he still has a job to do. "But you three ought to stop wondering around and head straight home." Doijma was about to head back to the crime scene until another officer ran out of said crime scene and threw up in the bushes.
'Whoa, it must have been that bad.' Yu stared at the officer throwing up and reconsidered. 'Or maybe that guy's just weak..."
"Adachi! How long are you going to act like a rookie? You want to be sent back to the central office!?" Seriously this guy is supposed to be one of their good officers and he's throwing up like a rookie still? Just what is he going to do with him? Sure the crime scene and body looks bad but come on, at least have some pride and dignity!
"I-I'm sorry...Nngh..." Adachi was a man around his late twenties to early thirties or from what Yu can tell. He has short dark hair and wears a dark suit with a red tie.
"Go wash your face. We're bonn go around and gather information!" Dojima sighed before going back to the crime scene. Adachi followed after him.
"Was this what that announcement was about?" Chie wondered.
'That most likely be the case.' thought Yu trying to get a good look at the scene. There were too many people in the way and he can't risk Dojima catching him or seeing that he' still here with the girls.
"What do they mean...It was hanging from the antenna...?" Yukiko wondered if the people were referring to a pole or something else.
'That's pretty much everyone's thoughts.' Yu mentally added knowing that he'll have to something real soon. Geez, what's taking the Disk Animals so long?
"Hey, Yukiko...Why don't we go to Junes some other time?" Chie didn't want to stay outside any longer and wanted to go home already.
Yukiko nodded. "Good idea."
'A good one indeed, a smart move...' Now maybe he can figure out what's going on around here and deal with whatever's causing these strange phenomenons.
Chie looked at Yu. "Alright then, we're taking off. Starting to tomorrow neighbor, let's do our best!" Chie smiled as the two walked away.
Yu wondered what she meant by that but quickly dismissed it seeing as that he's got bigger issues at hand. It was best for him to leave right now before his uncle notices that he's still here. Besides, he can't do his work here.
Just then, his Onkaku started making a quiet deep beeping sound, to Yu, it meant that his Disk Animals are around here, Yu then found a spot where people aren't around, so he went up to it and saw the AkaneTaka flying around. The AkaneTaka then went into it's Disk form and Yu started spining it with his Onkaku again, he smiled meaning he's got it this time.
"Alright." Yu said as he started to run at great speed that's beyond what you would see at the olympics and ran towards the forest. But unkown to him, the same hooded figure from this morning was watching him run.
(Line Break)
Yu just stopped for a moment to catch his breath, from what his Disk Animal told him the Makamou are around here in these woods, Yu then got the AkaneTaka out and tapped it with his Onsa Onkaku again, which made it go into it's bird form.
"Lead the way." Yu said as he started to follow his little friend, Yu has made a few jumps and leaped over a few rural obstacles to get to the location and he was met with a spider web coming out of nowhere, he looked up to see a man and woman in old Japanese clothing.
"An Oni huh?" the man said in a womans voice. Yu could tell that all Douji's has a womans voice.
"Worry not, we shall kill the Oni." the woman said in a mans voice. Yu can also tell that all Hime's has a man's voice. The Douji and Hime then jumped down from the treetops and faced Yu on the ground.
'So the Makamou's a Tsuchigumo huh?' Yu thought since a spider web came from one of them.
"Prepare to die, Oni...!" the Douji charged in after him and Yu got into a stance getting ready to take them on. Once the Tsuchigumo Douji was in close range Yu engaged in a short combat with him seeing as they hadn't transformed yet. The Tsuchigumo Douji sent punches at Yu as he was countering his punches of his own, then the Douji leaped in the air to kick him but Yu pushed the Douji back. Soon the Tsuchigumo Hime raced after him and started send in her own attacks.
Yu evaded the woman's attacks and pushed her back by kicking her abdomen. She skidded back towards the Douji as he caught her in his arms. Wasting no time Yu brought out his Onkaku and tapped it on his wrist, once it did the tuning fork rang and emitted sound waved. Placing it above his forehead he became engulfed in purple flames. The Doji and Hime watched only to growl at him.
"Now let's make this quick, I have to get back home soon..." Yu said while still on fire proceeding over to the pair as they transformed.
The Douji and Hime of Tsuchigumo now had purple bodies, white scarfs around their necks, and had brown heads somewhat resembling that of a spider. The Douj's head was more darker than the Hime's, as his brown color was deeper and had black eyes. The Hime's head was a lighter color shading of brown as her eyes were completely brown and lips showed.
The newly transformed pair raced towards Yu who soon knocked them back with ease. Douji and Hime looked to see a new figure standing in his place. His whole body was donned in a purple bodysuit that appeared to act like second skin, red gauntlets, silver wrist and ankle bands, silver chest straps, a brown belt around his waist with a buckle of the Taiko symbol, and purple helmet with an opaque visor with red markings, silver horns, and a golden ornament facial decoration of an Oni. Yu had become Kamen Rider Hibiki!
Hibiki (響)
"Oni!" the pair growled as they immediately charged towards Hibiki wasting no time trying to kill him. Hibiki lightly scoffed at the pair as he caught the Douj's fist in his hand and sent the Him flying with a single punch. Hibiki instinctively moved his head to the side when the Douji spat a web.
"Nice try." Hibiki said before slamming the Douji of Tsuchigumo hard on the ground causing him to yell in pain. Dragging him by the arms Hibiki began to chant one of his moves.
"Kitojutsu: Onidume!" Claws grew out of Hibiki's hands and he instantly stated punching the Douji causing him to scream in pain due to the claws tearing out his body.
The Hime of Tsuchigumo growled and rushed towards her comrade seeing as how the Oni is going to kill him. Hibiki stopped his assault and ducked low while spreading his legs to move a step away from the Hime, as he evaded more of her attacks. She fired a web out of her mouth only to be smashed into pieces by Hibiki's claws. The Tsuchigumo Hime raced towards him and reared her fist back for a punch, however Hibiki caught her fist and punched her rib cage area really hard. Instantly the woman was on all fours holding onto her bleeding side.
Hibiki was about to finish her off until the Tsuchigumo Douji jumped him from behind. "Get off!" Pushing the injured Douji off him, he might as well just finish him off since he's nearly dead already.
"Kihojutsu:Onibi!" Once he chanted the technique a mouth appeared on his helmet where said body part should be, and actually breathed out purple flames destroying the Douji of Tschigumo as he screamed out of pain and then was destroyed on the spit.
"Time for the other one." Hibiki turned to only see that the Hime of Tschigumo was gone. "Darn. Must have gotten away when I took care of her hubby." There were trails of blood on the ground and Hibiki could see that it was leading to somewhere, most likely to where the Tschigumo those two were raising is at. "I best follow." Knowing that wound he inflicted on her might slow the woman down, but at least he can get to his target.
The Hime was running away from the Oni since he just killed her husband, she was also heading towards the Tsuchigumo to wake it up. She then stopped at a shach that looks pretty old.
"So this is where the Tsuchigumo is huh?" The Hime turned to see Hibiki leaning against a tree.
"You damn Oni!" The Hime said before the doors of the shed opened making some web get atatched to her waist before being pulled in.
'Yep, I woke up her kid.' Hibiki thought refering to the Makamou.
Fierce red eyes pierced from within the shack were glaring at Hibiki and surprisingly enough, it's own mother as well. Hibiki wondered what it was about to until the Hime stepped in front of it.
"...Yes, gone on...my child...eat..." Heavily breathing the Hime of Tsuchigumo knew she would have to make this sacrifice in order to get revenge for her beloved and kill this Oni for running their plans! Once and for all! She won't let him get away with this, and her child will certainly make sure of that. "Devour me whole, and destroy what you see fit...including the Oni...!" As commanded, the Tsuchigumo fired a web at the Hime and then pulled her into the shack.
Hibiki gasped at shock. This was the first time that a Makamou is devouring its own creator. It would certainly make for the history books alright, but still...he needed to be on his guard. Who knows how strong when a Makamou can get after devouring a Hime?
'Is it setting up a trap for me?' Hibiki wondered slowly stepping towards the shack. Pulling out his Rekka and with the flames emitted, Hibiki was prepared for whatever this Tschigumo had planned for him or is just acting on its own wild instinct. After taking three steps forward the Tschigumo roared and crumbled the whole shack, making Hibiki step back and fire his fireballs at the creature. Once the fireballs hit the Tschigumo screamed in pain and glared down at him.
The Tschigumo brought down its large sharp legs at Hibiki who knocked them back with his Rekka. "Your size may give you some advantage, but you're not gonna have your way." Rolling away from its attacks again Hibiki leaped in the air and rocketed down towards the Tschimo extending his leg out for a kick. Once his foot connected with the top of the Tschigumo's head, the spider creature roared at him. "Keep it to yourself..." Emitting fire from his Rekka; Hibiki aimed and shot at the Tsuchigumo's eyes causing it to scream in pain. Knowing that he has the advantage now he jumped on its back and began the finishing procedure. Pulling out the Kaentsuzumi out of the buckle holder, and attaching it to the Tschigumo's back it grew bigger as Hibiki raised up his Rekka for the final attack.
"Ongeki Da: Kaen Renda no Kata!"
(音撃打・火炎連打の型, Sound Attack Stroke: the Flame Barrage Style)
Pounding his Rekka against the large drum Hibiki began to sped up, sound waves were emitting off the drum and the Tschigumo was obviously feeling the pain coursing through its body as it tried to get Hibiki off him. However it was too late as the giant creature glowed red and then exploded.
Hibiki had already landed safely away from the explosion and the Kaentsuzumi flew in his acing it back on the slot of his buckle a bright light enveloped his body and changed him back into Yu Narukami once more.
"Whew." Yu breathed. "Well that takes care of that for today." He began to walk home.
