CHAPTER 1
Jake's Pov
Jake didn't want to go into the asylum. He didn't want to leave his friends. But he knew that he had to protect them, and himself. He walked to the front gate and knocked..
"Hello?" said a voice coming through the tiny box with a speaker.
Jake pushed the button on the box.
"Come in," the voice said.
The gate opened inward slowly, creaking in the most annoying manner. Jake trudged forward towards the hospital. A steel door at the front of the building slid open. Jake walked into the hospital and his worst nightmare.
Dirk's Pov
Dirk woke up in his bed as he usually did, but something felt wrong. He felt as if he hadn't slept in days. Then he remembered, he hadn't. Dirk had been up for the past three days looking for Jake and being worried out of his mind. He'd looked all over the city and called up Jane and Roxy to help. Together they'd scoured every corner and cranny that they knew existed. They searched Jake's house for any clues, but found nothing. At first, Dirk secretly hoped Jake was planning something for him, but by the third day he was just hoping that Jake was safe. Dirk got out of his bed, stretching before starting his daily routine. His daily routine involved taking a shower, brushing his teeth, eating breakfast, and continuing his search for Jake.
