A.N. Firstly, please do not comment to say Jacob sucks or Edward sucks. It's rude, and a waste of my time. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm a fan of both personally. This is just the story I decided to write for now. Please REVIEW and favorite! Thanks!

Between watching Jacob eat a sickening amount of food and having the flu, I was definitely fighting a losing battle trying to keep down the medication I had just taken. Jacob paused his massacre of all the eggs in my house and looked up at me.

"Bells?" he said, looking worried as I put my head in my hands. I was surprised to find my forehead unbearably hot, though I was experiencing the chills."Are you sick?" Jacob asked when I put my head in my hands. I groaned in response, and felt his hand begin stroking my hair. Unfortunately, the smell of the eggs was finally too much for me, and I leapt from my seat and sprinted up the stairs. Surprisingly, I didn't trip once, and made it to the bathroom before losing all the water and medicine in my stomach. Well, it hadn't been working anyways.

"Bella!" called Jacob. I could hear his feet pounding down the hall. I flushed the toilet quickly, pulling myself up unsteadily. I was at the door when Jacob arrived. He put his hand to my head, then let out a frustrated groan.

"What?" I asked, worried he was sick too.

"Because of my heat, I can't judge if you have a fever. Where's the thermometer?" I mumbled something about the medicine cabinet, and Jacob slid past to check in the cabinet behind the mirror. When my temperature was checked, I heard a gasp.

"Huh? That bad?" I laughed weakly.

"102.4, Bella! Why didn't you tell me you didn't feel well?" he looked hurt. I waved off his question, stumbling to my bedroom with Jacob trailing close behind.

"Water," I croaked. Jacob nodded, and I could hear his footsteps disappear down the stairs. He returned a few minutes later with a glass of water and a grimace. I stared at him questioningly, and he smiled guiltily.

"I called Edward," he admitted, sounding disgusted with himself. I groaned, rolling my eyes.

"Why?" I didn't exactly relish the idea of anyone seeing me like this. I was hoping I could shake this bug before Edward was back from hunting. Well, scratch that, I suppose. I shivered once, feeling unbearably cold. I snuggled under the covers and pulled Jacob down on the bed. Realistically, he could have easily resisted, but he just lay down and pulled me close. I buried my freezing body into his chest, and sighed, content. I drifted, and was just barely aware that Jacob got up. I felt something cold climb into his place, and shrunk away, teeth chattering.

"Bella," soothed Edward's angelic voice. I felt a glass at my lips, and forced down water. It almost immediately wanted nothing to do with my stomach, and I jolted up, only to find Edward holding a bucket below me. I retched, beyond caring. Stomach settled, I sipped more water, but less this time. Settling back down, I whined,

"Cold."

"Shh, Bella. We have to keep your fever down."

"He's right, Bells. I hate to admit it, though." I could hear the worry coloring Jacob's voice, and nodded once. I patted my other side, and Jacob hesitantly joined. I spent the rest of the night between the men I loved, switching between heat and cold when I needed. Of course, Jacob may have been taking more liberty with his thoughts, as I heard Edward growl at him a few times. Really, though, who cares.
