Ninja City
Chapter 1: The Start
By Son of the Specter 992
It was three years ago. That day was the day that sealed my fate. I knew that the Ninja Academy graduation would change my life, but not in this way. Those years were the best seven years of my life. My team ran through the ninja level tests like a hot knife through butter. But that's all changed. My teammates, Janice and Matt are dead, my ninja school has been destroyed, I lost my two kids, and I'm the only tree ninja left. All I have left is a Kohono Tree village graduate's necklace to remind me of my pain.
The ninjas from the village hidden in sand have destroyed every village from hiding in grass to hiding in rain. The only village they haven't wiped off the map like a bug on the windshield is the village hiding in sound, but they ran away like a road runner in a lake. They teamed up with the sand village and destroyed everyone else. Now I'm in the deserted desert of Texas that had been deserted since the sound ninjas murdered everyone in the world except for the sand village and me, Erik Spruce.
The sand ninja lord, Garra, has gone through every step, trick, and maneuver to find and destroy me. The strongest ninja's in our village were descendants of our lord Hokage. The former lord Hokage was my father. The strength that I have received from my heritage has allowed me to defeat every ninja sent after me. Now only a few ninjas were left to oppose me.
As I walked around the town that my family lived, as I continued down the road, I felt an air current wiz past my head and a few of my hairs fall off of my head. I turned around to see the sound ninjas standing on top of the ruble with another knife ready to throw. Their strongest throws the knife and dashes behind it.
I close my eyes as to sense the cuts in the wind and jump. I dodge the knife and struck the sound ninja. As I landed, he fell like a rock. I turned around to see his teammates running away with their strongest in arms. Deciding to not let them get away I throw three throwing stars and they fall dead.
I bow my head in sorrow. "Dear lord, forgive these ninja for their wrongs like you have forgiven my village." I recited the prayer that I recite after every one of my victories. I stared to walk away when something caught my eye. I looked down to see a ring lying on the ground. I pick it up to see it when I realize that this isn't any ring. This ring was a one of a kind ring that I had given to my daughter before she had been brutally murdered. I pick it up and put it on.
I was perplexed; my daughter left me on the other side of the world. As I thought about it, a chill ran down my spine as if I was being watched. I turn around and see a dark flash as if something with extreme stealth ran away from the shadows. I decide that it's nothing and leave.
