Only Hope
Chapter One
"Hey Piccolo," Trunks called, " aren't we ready for the fusion?"
"Just a little bit longer." Piccolo commanded.
"Look, we can't just keep stalling! Sooner or later he'll find us and we'll all be doomed!" Trunks bellowed.
Piccolo gritted his teeth, while dead serious looks identical to their father's began to form on Goten and Trunks's faces.
"Just a couple minutes, that's all we need." Piccolo muttered.
Goku, Supreme Kai, and Kibito were hunched over Elder Kai's crystal ball, watching the war that raged on the planet Earth.
Gohan sat in front of Elder Kai, who was reading comic books and also trying to release Gohan's sleeping powers.
The Kai's planet was similar to Earth in many ways, but they also had their differences. For one, the sky was always purple like Earth's was always blue, except at night when in became pitch black. Second, their planet had many moons, unlike Earth's one moon. Third, it was holy land that no Earthling had ever stepped on, that is, until Gohan and Goku came along. And fourth, was the Legendary Zet Sword, Z Sword for short.
Goahn had used his Super Saiyan abilities to withdraw the sword from a plateau and relaease its powers. While in training with the sword, he broke it and out of the sword, now a dagger, popped Elder Kai, who been their for thirteen generations.
"Elder Kai," Gohan began, "how long do I have before the training is over?"
"Your training will be at an end in………5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You're free to go!" Elder Kai exclaimed, looking mighty proud with himself.
"All right!" Goku hollared. "Gohan pwer up, I want to check out your strength."
Taking a couple steps back, Gohan powered up to Mystic form, blowing trees, dirt, rocks and Elder Kai ten feet away!
"Amazing." Kibito said astonished.
"Gohan, your power has increased one-hundred-fold!" Supreme Kai said utterly amazed.
"Hey Gohan," Goku called as he walked up to him, " this is the last time you'll see me before you die." Goku said regretfully.
"I know, dad." Gohan replied.
"Take care of your mother, brother and Videl. They really love you." Goku said.
"You betcha." Gohan answered.
"And remember this: With every fading power, a new one is born. With every beginning, there's an end. And within every battle, a hero is born." Goku stated. "I love you son, you've made me proud."
"Thanks dad." Gohan said with a nod.
"Do you have any last requests?" Supreme Kai asked.
"Yeah. I want to change my outfit. I want my dad's colors and style." Gohan requested.
With a snap, a golden light shrouded Gohan from shoulder to toe. And in an instant, ha was waering his dad's same clothes.
