A/N: This one was written to Lindsey Stirling's Shatter Me featuring Lzzy Hale. I dunno how you feel about dubstep rock n' roll with a violin, but I high recommend it.

Moonlight streamed through broken windows, poured over the shattered city around them where fires still burned, and the dead lay unmourned. Palms warm against each other, wings brushing with each turn. Starscream pressed against his partner, lips tracing down his neck. A warm sigh as they turned through shadows. Moonlight gleamed on scratched tiles. Steps lighter than their feathers crunched over glass. Cool air filled the space between them when he turned Thundercracker out but in a beat they were together again.

The welds on his back ached from holding his arms up. Sometimes his steps stuttered when the moonlight glittered silver on a pillar. Thundercracker followed him even when he missed a step. Fallen debris and melted walls filled the once great concert hall with shadows that made his spark pulse too fast.

Thundercracker's indigo feathers shimmered like wet ink in the moonlight as they spun. Starscream held him close until it was time to turn him out again. The cold brought back more memories. His wings brushed the floor, the still healing breaks leaving them weak. Thundercracker's wings slid under his lifting them and taking the stress off his back. Pressing his lips to Thundercrack's neck again he closed his eyes and listened to the pulse of his spark.

Quiet steps, the soft rustle of feathers as they turned away and back again. Warmth bled back into him a little at a time. The silver light and shadows didn't make him flinch as often. Thundercracker's fire red optics cut through the darkness and Starscream didn't look away. They spun around fallen ceiling supports, broken bodies, and scorched walls that let in more moonlight through jagged holes.

Thundercracker's thumb stroked his hip and Starscream finally smiled. Their steps quickened to match their spark pulses. Thundercracker turned him out and their wings broke apart. He returned and a warm hand caught his, strong wings slid under his. Resting his head on Thundercracker's shoulder he surrendered the lead and let Thundercracker guide him around sharp slivers of sheared metal.

Wind whispered and moaned through the shattered windows and torn walls, a quiet melody to the beat of their sparks carrying their feet. Thundercracker turned him out and brought him back and gracefully dipped him, their lips brushing. Starscream smiled again.

Their steps came to a slow stop when Starscream kissed his mouth again and wrapped his arms around his neck. Thundercracker's arms slid up his sides to the sensitive joints on his back scarred by lashings. Light fingers traced the scars and he pulled Starscream closer, deepening the kiss. Moonlight streamed through broken windows, poured over the shattered city around them where fires still burned, and the dead lay unmourned.

A/N: There you go. Starscream and ballroom dancing. Don't say I never did nothin' for you.

This actually started off as a really sweet 'midnight waltz' piece and then I was like, but what if everyone was dead? and ruined it.

Or made it better.

I can't do anything sweet, apparently.

Anyway, thank you for reading, reviewing, following, and favoriting!
