Here is the first of many random scenes that I've come up with that will never fit as its own segment/chapter into the main story of Sing For Me. Enjoy. I only own the elements that you don't recognize.
"Demetri?"
"Yes Aria?"
"You don't think Aro and the others would mind if I went out for a bit, do you?"
"Maybe not. We all understand that you have your human needs. I suppose you could go for it."
I smiled. "Cool. I won't be gone long."
"Oh my God these are delicious!" I proclaimed, popping another gummy bear into my mouth. I had gone out to buy all kinds of sweets. Chocolate, Sweet Tarts, etc. I even got myself a caramel apple. I don't know where the sudden sugar craving had come from but now it was being satiated and I was happy.
"Aria, what the hell is that God-awful smell?" Alec asked, having just come in through the door as I was gorging myself.
I gave him a sheepish smile and gestured to my bed where all the goodies had been laid out. Then I laughed. "Haha, you just rhymed."
He scrunched up his nose in disgust. "I came in because I was bored…but I see I won't be able to…err, relieve that boredom here. Come join me in my room when you're finished…feasting."
I opened my mouth to protest but he left. When Alec said he was "bored", he didn't mean he was bored. If you get my drift. So I jumped off of my bed and checked myself in the mirror, swallowing down the rest of what was left in my mouth. Then I raced to Alec's room and knocked on the door. He opened it and I jumped on him, kissing him on his full lips. He caught me deftly in his arms and pulled back slightly. "Yes?"
"Are you still bored?" I asked.
"Yes. But you still reek of that human food." Alec said with a teasing smile. I pouted.
"I suppose we can make an exception though." I started smiling again. "After all…past the stench you smell delectable."
He leaned back in to kiss me.
