Inspired by Irinia's version of the fall. I decided to do Nolfy's time during it. My first time writing something for WoW.
Medical sublevel.
A large shuddering and the sounds of nearby explosions alerted her that something was wrong, looking up from her work on the patient Nolfavrel moved to the door peering out at several people rushing past. "We need to get everyone we can out Nolfy, get the to any pod you can"
Quickly turning back into the room she motioned for the only other healer in the room to help her with the patient. "Come on Lilith help him to get to the nearest pod you can get in and get ready to go."
Quickly trotting out of the room she headed towards her own quarters intent on finding her family.
Twenty minutes later.
"Come on its only a little further!" leading her family towards the nearest escape pods she looked back seeing them lagging behind so her little brother could keep up. "come on its just around here." Turning back in the direction of the escape pods she waited until they had all passed her before making her way to them herself, looking at the pod and the people already crammed into it she shook her head as her mother tried to pull her in. "Too many, I will find another"
Turning away from the pod she hit the controls to close the pod door before launching it, she was about to turn away when it was caught by a wall of what seemed to be the light. "O'ros…" Turning to move to the only pod left in the room she watched as the room started to fracture and break away in chunks only to be held in place by O'ros, moving towards the pod she felt a gut wrenching pull as the ships speed reduced momentously and the light holding everything in place faded.
Feeling the floor under her moving she launched herself at the pod only to find it was also moving, landing hard on the floor where it had been she noticed not everyone had been in the pod. Her father was stood in shock near the entrance to the room watching the room as it sheared off taking his daughter with it.
Azuremyst Isle.
Nothing moved save the few animals that where brave enough to remain near the crash, pieces of the Exodar lay littered around and an escape pod crushed under one piece lay just on the shore of the island. As well as a house crushed by one of the large crystals and a lone person sitting on the end of a jetty.
Some of the waves crashed around a larger piece that has fallen directly into deeper water bringing with them wreckage and other items lost in the crash. A feeling of sharp pain in her side woke her up, looking around Nolfavrel took in her location before spotting the pod "No…" Picking herself up she put weight on her leg only to find her self in the water as her leg collapsed, struggling to keep herself above the water she found her self being gradually dragged downwards.
Hitting the bottom which was a lot closer than expected she pushed herself on towards the shore, feeling herself becoming light-headed her pace slowed until she finally stopped struggling remembering her father just standing there. Feeling her thoughts becoming more distant she wondered what exactly had happened before everything faded from her view.
A faint presence touched her bringing her back the feeling of solid ground under her back, something was pressed against her neck but she couldn't open her eyes to see what it was all she could do was cough, then she heard faint voices though one thing made it through intact "Mother...Its Nolfy…"
