Even when Yagyuu was cleaning his glasses, he always closed his eyes so no one could see them, irritating Niou to no end.
Sure, he had seen Yagyuu's eyes occasionally, but that was behind the obstruction of the glasses and it just didn't feel natural. He wanted to see what they looked like without the glasses, without a hindrance between his gaze and Yagyuu's gaze.
As usual, it was just the two of them left in the clubroom. The gentleman insisted on keeping the room neat and tidy, so he took the responsibility upon himself to make sure that everything was impeccable.
Niou would watch him clean, and after a while he would begin his relentless nagging.
"For goodness sake, Yagyuu. Just take those damned spectacles off." Niou lazily mimicked the way Yagyuu said spectacles. It always amused him how he was determined to say the proper word, instead of just saying glasses like everyone else did.
"I need them to see, Niou-kun."
"Ever heard of contacts?"
No response.
Just the owner's hand reaching up to push the glasses further up the bridge of his nose.
"Yagyuu…" The younger boy scowled and then lunged for the glasses.
"asdf;lkj MY SPECTACLES—"
A scuffle, a muffled yell, and then a loud thump on the ground, followed by a shout of victory and a moan of pain.
"Finally you're not wearing the damn spectacles!" The smug look Niou sported brought a faint smile to Yagyuu's face.
That is, until he realised what kind of compromising position they were in.
Yagyuu lay flat on his back with his legs trapped between Niou's knees, rendering him immobile. Niou was kneeling over him and had used his hands to pin Yagyuu's wrists down on either side of his head so he was unable to fight back. Somehow Niou had managed to take the glasses off with minimal difficulty by using his mouth and now they were discarded on the floor next to the taller boy's head.
"Uh, Niou-kun? If you would be as kind as to remove your knees so I can get out of this i-i-indecent predicament…"
No response.
The younger boy was entranced. Spellbound by the breathtaking beauty of Yagyuu's eyes.
His eyes were so golden. They were so beautiful, so captivating that Niou found himself getting pulled into the bottomless pit of those golden orbs. Without thinking, Niou lowered his head and narrowed the gap between himself and the taller boy for a chaste kiss.
"Wow, that was… sudden," Yagyuu slowly managed to articulate after they separated.
Niou stood up silently, only grunting in response as he handed Yagyuu his glasses.
"Here. Don't ever take them off in front of anyone except for me." The usually sullen trickster paused and chewed on his bottom lip, as if contemplating what to say next. "Because… just don't, okay?"
Yagyuu smiled. He was always so dishonest with himself, but that was okay. They both knew what Niou had intended to say anyway.
Because… anyone who sees those beautiful eyes without the obstruction of your glasses will definitely fall in love with you.
And I… I don't want to share you.
END.
