My Visit to Karamja
A/N: Here is the story of my recent visit to Karamja, enjoy!
I was just wandering around Draynor Village, and noticed a pier, and found out I was in the town of Port Sarim. I walked on the pier, and asked the Captain a question. I asked if I could board the boat, and he said, "If you pay 30 coins, this boat will take you to Karamja." So I told him, yes, paid him the fare, went on the gangplank to the boat, and set sail.
Once I got there, the boat stopped of course, and I walked down the gangplank towards the pier, then I talked to the customs officer, and asked her about any unusual customs, and she said, "I'm not that kind of customs officer." So, then I walked off, and stopped at the first building. It looked like a place where you could just walk in and out, so, I went in, and I saw a guy with a monkey on his back and he was also carrying a backpack.
So, I went up to him, and he told me about himself owning a banana plantation, so I asked him for employment, he said, "Well, you can fill a crate of bananas for 30 GP." I said, yes. Then I went off to pick the bananas.
The plantation was really close, it was about 5 feet away, so, I went through the gate, and went towards the trees, for a second there, I thought I would have to climb the trees, but the bananas just came right off, so, once I picked 10 bananas, I headed back towards the crate. I filled the entire crate with the bananas I just picked, so I went to claim my reward, and I asked him if I could fill another crate for more GP, and he said, "Why yes, certainly. "So I did the same thing I just did, and claimed my GP.
Then, I wandered off to the next building, and I asked the guy there what he was selling, he asked me, "Would you like to try our delicious wine?" I told him yes, paid my GP, and drank it. It was actually pretty good, made me a bit dizzy though, so, I gave him back the jug, and went off towards the jungle type forest. When I got there, I fought snakes, and monkeys. When I picked up the monkey's bones, and buried them, I found out they gave me more experience then just regular bones, so I fought a few more, and buried them.
Then, I tried to go through the gate to get to Brimhaven , but I couldn't go through because I was not on a members world. I wasn't a member anyways, so I thought, 'Stupid me, thinking I could just explore this whole island without being a member.'
Then, I headed back, and to go back, the customs officer had to go through my items, I thought, 'personal space, please!' She told me, "You have some really weird items, but they are all legal." I thought, 'weird, huh? I'll show you weird!' Instead, I boarded the boat, paid my GP, and went back to Port Sarim. That was my visit to Karamja.
