Who are you really?
You say you're an explorer.
Someone who uncovers the mysteries of the universe.
You say you can give me an exciting life.
Full of adventure and danger.
You say you're clever.
And you prove it time again.
You say you see others' pain and want to heal it.
But how can you heal others if you can't heal yourself?
You say you are powerful.
But I don't see how much until it really matters.
You say that you stop the travesties of human kind.
But I never ask what you mean by human.
You say that you know what you have to do.
You say you'll never forgive yourself if you don't.
You say you have to do what's right.
Even if it's not right for some.
You say you must.
And I say I understand.
You say you're sorry.
But I don't remember.
