Marcus was worried. No, he was beyond worried. He was terrified. Why? Well, today was the day he proposed to his true love, Percy Weasley. They had met after the war and when they announced that they were together the rift that Percy had just begun to mend was opened once again and he was kicked out. Marcus's parents welcomed Percy with open arms and loved him like he was their own.

Now that they had been together for five years Marcus was ready to get married and make everything official. He was scared of what Percy's response would be. The red-head had made no indication that he wanted to get married, so Marcus was going in blind.

He had freaked out over details, wanting everything to be perfect, before his friend, Adrian, smacked him with a book and said that it should come from the heart, and it didn't matter if it was perfect. So, now Percy and Marcus were going to the park where they first met, Percy believing it to be a regular date like any other. It was snowing which was an added bonus as Percy loved snow. "So what are we going to be doing? Let's not try ice skating again, it was really dangerous." Percy asked as they walked to the park.

Marcus laughed. "You only say that because you fell on your arse more times than I could count."

Percy blushed and looked away. "It was not my fault. The laces were loose and there should be more safety features." He said.

"Safety features? For ice skates?" Marcus said, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, shush." Percy lightly shoved Marcus away from him.

They finally got to the park and Marcus took a deep breath. It was time. He slowly led Percy over to the bench where they first met. "Percy I've been thinking a lot about our relationship and I need to ask you something." Marcus said speeding up the end as Percy's eyes got wide in alarm.

Percy had calmed down and asked, "What is it?"

"Ever since the day I met you here I knew there was something. And over the years I realized that you are the only one for me, so..." Marcus got down on one knee and pulled out the ring,"Will you marry me?"

Percy stood in shock for a moment before nodding and throwing himself at Marcus. "Yes, yes , yes. A billion times yes!"

Marcus smiled. Mission accomplished.

Hi! Badger here! I just wanted to write something fluffy and this was what came to mind, so here. Disclaimer: I don't own the Harry Potter series. That belongs to J.K Rowling.
