Kagome nervously fingered the bottom of her silk shirt as she glance up at the seatbelt that had finally turned off after the seven hour flight back to Japan from China. She was seated in the front row and was up with all her luggage gathered before anyone else had risen from their seat. The plane's door opened and Kagome was off like a rocket, ignoring all the farewells of the plane's crew.

Five minutes later Kagome had arrived in the baggage claim. She found a seat near the carousel that her suitcase was to arrive on, a seat that was situation directly across from a pair of sliding doors.

Half an hour later she was still waiting and the luggage had yet to arrive but then so was her lover. For the millionth time since her departure from the hotel she had been staying at for the last month, Kagome regretted that she hadn't remembered to charge her phone. Now she was without a means to contact her lover. She cursed Sesshomaru for his insane refusal to answer his cell phone when he didn't recognize the number.

Another ten minutes went by before Kagome started to think Sesshomaru had forgotten that she was to return today or that something horrible had happened to prevent him coming to get her.

The loud opening of the door drew her attention away from her worries and to the entrance even as her mind absently prepared her for disappointment.

It was him.

Sesshomaru immediately spotted her from his position in the entrance to the airport baggage claim. He was immaculately attired as usual, his clothes elegant, expensive yet elaborate in their simplicity. His hair was free from any possible constraints, the silky silver locks wind blown and only slightly disheveled. Her lover's golden eyes raked her from head to foot, devouring her with any sign of subtlety.

Kagome could now feel the full effect of her month away from him. Pain and longing that she had ignored for the most part swamped her and to her horror tears started to well in her eyes.

Then she was up and rushing towards him as his long strides did the same towards her. They met each other half way and Kagome lost all restraint and jumped him, wrapping her weight around his waist to hold herself there. Sesshomaru took a second to rebalance himself before wrapping his arms around her, not even feeling a fraction of the shock that their actions were receiving from the people around them.

Without another moment's hesitation he drew her head down and took her mouth in a fiery invasion that could mildly be described as a kiss. Kagome returned his passion generously, going so far as to pull him back when he was moving to break their mouths apart. She finally released him when the need to breath became overwhelming and then she buried her face in his neck, not protesting as Sesshomaru set her on the ground.

He keep her in the shelter of his embrace for the next couple of minutes, till the horn of the carousel when off and bags from her flight started to pour forth.. Still Kagome stayed tucked into his side, not moving more than one foot away from him as they waited for her bag to show.

"Welcome home koi," he whispered into her ear.

She smiled and let the tears fall, she was so happy to be back.

Pointless little one shot I've been thinking of since Thursday when I was at the airport and actually witnessed a scene like this. This is a Christmas present to all the SessKag fans out their.

It doesn't have anything to do with Christmas, but there are enough of those coming out and so I decided to do an airport scene.

I didn't get my Muichimotsu update up in time but I already started on it so it'll be up soon, don't fret peoples.
