Chapter 1:
Everyone is going to remember that day… What happened… How it effected them…
For me it was personal. I lost a person that was important two me. Learned a family secret. But most of all I almost died.
It all started last month. On that Wednesday. I was sitting in the cafeteria with my girlfriend, Brooke, and my two best friends, Ali and Sam.
I don't really remember what we were talking about but I think that Brooke was gloating about how good she looked, as usual. You see, Brooke can be a bit stuck up. Its always about what she wears and how she looks. Like common!
Anyways back to the story. When were all finished lunch I looked at the clook that was just above the kitchen, it said, 12:15.
"k, we have five minutes until class I gotta swing up to my locker and grab a few things" I said as I was getting up at of my chair.
" Ya same with me" said Ali.
" So Brooke I will meet you in L.A. k?"
" Ya sure whatever," Brooke said with a bit of attitude in her voice.
I rolled my eyes and turned around while Ali followed.
" No offence Jamie, but she's' a bitch!" Ali said.
I didn't reply. But in my mind I knew she was right. Its like Brooke doesn't even care about me.
" So what do u have next," I asked changing the subject.
She rolled her eyes and said, "Current events. How about you."
" L.A."
When we got to our lockers, they were two down from each other, we grabbed our binders and text books and started to find Sam and Brooke.
We walked down several halls. We finally met up with them near the bathrooms.
Ring… ring… ring…
" That's our qoe" I said.
When Brooke and I started walking to L.A, the principle came on the intercom… " CODE RED! I REPEAT, CODE RED… THIS IS NOT A DRILL! THERE IS A TERRORIST IN THE SCHOOL! WE ARE NOW ON LOOKDO-"
Before he could finish the was a loud Bang!
Everyone started screaming and running to the nearest class room where as I turned around and darted my way to Ali and Sam…
" Come on guys! Lets go!" I yelled with the sound of panic in my voice, " We have to get out of here!"
Grabbed brook's hand and we ran for the science we ran to the closest class room.. And that was the science lab…
