There was a light, silent breeze as she walked past various stones, a single flower in hand.

Sheena couldn't remember how long it had been since her last visit, or when she would visit next. But she did remember when it had happened- the exact date, right down to the time and place. Sheena would never forget.

As she reached her destination, Sheena closed her eyes, to see if he was there. Like always, she saw his fun and cheerful smile, his long red hair, his azure eyes… everything. She saw him every time she closed her eyes, even when she went to sleep. He was everywhere.

Tears welled up and threatened to roll down as Sheena opened her eyes. She hoped with all her might that he would be there, fun and flirty as ever.

Sheena knew he could never be.

If only… I had realized sooner… how you made me feel, Sheena thought, lips trembling.

"Zelos…." Sheena dared to speak his name, and it rang in the air as she knelt down and placed the flower on his grave. Sheena closed her eyes again, wishing with all her might that he would be there again, even if only in her mind.

He was there. And Sheena wanted to be where he was more than anything…. She didn't want to live her life alone anymore.

Her tears had now rolled down her cheeks, and Sheena whispered, "Why…? Why did you have to go and die?" She started to sob, clutching her stomach and kneeling over his grave.

"Zelos… you are everywhere to me. And yet… I'm still alone." With that, her decision was made… the one she had been contemplating over for a while now.

Sheena pulled out the small dagger she had carried with her, just in case she had finally made the decision. With it, she plunged it into her heart.

"Zelos… now… do you see me?"

Authors' Note: This is my first attempt at writing fan fiction, let alone any characters dying. So please go easy on me and no flames. Constructive criticism would be very helpful. Also, the idea for this is from the song Everywhere by Michelle Branch. You might recognize a bit of it here and there.
