#1: I've never written anything like this before, therefore I have no experience in it. It's just a try, so bear with me. (:
#2: English is not my first language. If you find any grammatical errors, which you surely will, please ignore them.
#3: Comments are much appeciated. If you like it, I might think about continuing the story.
#4: I don't own anything, although I wouldn't mind Will in my bed... err, let's get on with the story...
He pulled away and waited for her to react. Emma needed a second to pull herself together. All this time there had been so much going on in her head. She'd constantly been thinking how she must've hurt Ken or how hurt she was. Now, for the first time in a while, everything was just silent in her head. No doubts, no questions, but most of all no fear. She couldn't quite grasp what had just happened. Nobody had ever come that close to her. Of course she had always wished for this to happen, for Will to kiss her, but she didn't think that day would come so soon and that she could actually be that close to anybody. She replayed the scene when his soft and warm lips crashed into hers in her head. A shiver ran across her lower back, right where Will's hand was still resting. His grip loosened a bit, but he still held her tight, waiting for a response. His eyes were full of confusion, not sure whether he'd done the right thing, but also full of sincerity. This kiss was what he truly felt for her and not just something to make her stay.
Finally it all made sense to Emma and the beautiful smile she used to wear when she was around Will appeared on her face. She exhaled deeply, which made him sigh with relief. "Wow," he whispered as his tensed muscles relaxed. He hadn't felt that rush of emotion when kissing somebody in a long time. Terry, yes, but the last time he had kissed her like that must've been when they were teenagers. As cliché as it sounds, it was like fireworks exploding when his and Emma's lips met. He took in her floral scent, which he had grown to love over the past couple of weeks. His reaction made Emma chuckle a bit.
"What was that for?" she asked referring to the kiss, barely able to suppress her happiness. Will pulled her closer, not wanting to let go of her anytime soon.
"Look, Emma, I'm sorry for what I said about not being able to be with you because I just left my wife," he said.
"Will-"
"No, please… I don't know why I couldn't say it earlier, but Emma, I want to be with you. I… I can't even explain it. It's just that…" he stammered. Overwhelmed by his feelings, he wasn't able to put it all into words. Normally he always had the right words for every occasion, but not this time. He cupped her perfect face with one hand, cradling her cheek and brushing his thumb up and down. Enjoying his hand on her face, Emma leaned in and closed her eyes. She didn't want this moment to end and neither did Will. Once again he leaned in to kiss her, this time more passionate. Emma, too, forgot about her hesitancy and gave completely in to the kiss, putting her arms around his neck. In need of air they both pulled away after what seemed to be an eternity to them. He rested his forehead against hers, his eyes closed.
"So, what do we do now?" she asked.
