Introduction
In the huge, beautiful garden of Greenfield's Mansion/ Research center, a certain little girl ran around with a mareep following close behind. It was just like she dreamed it would be. Except it was real. It was all real.
After what happened three months ago, Professor Oak decided to give Molly her very own pokemon. Although she was too young to battle, Molly and her mareep grew closer everyday.
"Come on, Spark!" Molly said in excitement as she ran to the river.
Her father watched her, ready to run over if she slipped off the stepping stones in the large river.
He grew very protective of his daughter after the 'Wish Storm' as everyone started to call it. He wasn't really sure why, but he seemed to remember the events that had taken place in so much detail. Almost like he was there… Only someone different… Somehow…
The sound of Skylar's truck parking in front of the mansion brought him back to the present. Spark bleated in delight and Molly smiled a wide smile.
"Skylar is back! Papa! Look!" Molly yelled, jumping up and down. "He's back from visiting the temple!"
Skylar walked into the garden, only to have a little girl almost knock her over as she hugged him. "Hello Molly! How are you today?"
"Great! The other pokemon are starting to come back. Spark and I were playing with them yesterday." Molly said with a big smile on her face. Spark agreed with a cheerful bleat.
Many pokemon come to the garden to play with the little girl. All of them fled before the Wish Storm. They were starting to come back. They were here most days. Not today though.
Skylar smiled brightly at Molly, then he walked over to her father with a worried look on his face. "Professor… I need to talk to you."
"Alright." He nodded. They both walked to the summer house near the lake and sat down at the table. "What did you find, Skylar? What did you find at the ruins?" He asked in worry.
Skylar pulled his laptop out of his bag that he brought it in. "I have found energy and thought strands from the unknown tiles. They haven't reacted to anything we tried since the Wish Storm. So, we thought that they would be dormant for a few years. But lately, the strands have been growing again. The unknown are start to awaken." Skylar explained as he pointed to the screen with a graph of the energy growth.
"So, you think that they might go after my daughter again?" The professor asked, his fear increasing.
"I don't think so. Professor. The reason the unknown came the first time is because of Molly's dream of having her own pokemon. At least, that was a big part of it." Skylar said. The professor relaxed, but he knew that there was something else coming.
"It looks like the unknown are targeting Ash Ketchum's chikorita." Skylar said with a worried look.
