Phil put down his pen and grinned at Luke as he shut the door on Claire. He knew she'd be miffed and would eventually catch him, but right now, he felt too good to care! He was no longer a failure as a father. He had rescued his kids and his own reputation and made his son's dreams come true.
Luke giggled. "That was too cool!"
"It sure was!" Phil raised his hand, and his son actually high fived him. He wished Luke would say something about him being cool, but it didn't come. Still, he glowed in his moment.
