The Avengers mansion was quiet. Much too quiet for Tony's liking. Tony liked it when loud music was playing, people were yelling, things were exploding, and Bruce was hulking out. When it was silent, something was wrong. It meant Tony was bored. So he explored, making sure all of his teammates were all right. And if they were all right, then he could annoy them and decrease his boredom.

Bruce was writing a paper unsurprisingly. All that man ever seemed to do was read and write. Maybe that was the Hulk's influence...

Thor was enjoying some wrestling on TV. It would break his heart to tell him it wasn't real, so that was the first thing Tony did.

"You remember that's not real?" Tony grinned.

"You have told me so many times, friend Stark. But I still enjoy it. Would you care to join me?" Thor asked, not once taking his eyes off the tube.

"Nah. I got real stuff to do." Tony shrugged and left.

He knew Natasha had been given a mission by Fury and Clint had decided to go back to the hellicarrier along with Coulson. Tony did a mental check. Bruce- check... Natasha- check... Thor- check... Clint- check... himself- check... He was missing someone. He decided to never telling Super Solider he forgot about him for a minute. That was not a good move, especially for only being together for three months, and probably came from the sleeplessness he'd endured these past few nights. Granted, he hardly ever slept but these past nights had been worse. He wasn't sure why. So he went looking for Steve, the man who would join him in the insomnia they all suffered from, well, except Thor and Bruce.

Tony first checked the rec room, where Steve spent most of his time. He wasn't there. Okay, fine. Little bitch is getting sleep in his bed. I'm gonna go wake him up. Tony thought cheerfully, trying to calm down his slight panic. When Tony went to Steve's room, he wasn't there either. Shit. He went back to the living room where Thor was.

"Hey Thor, have you seen Steve?" He asked, totally nonchalant.

"I have not. Last I saw him he was heading in the direction your study." Thor said.

"Thanks buddy." Tony grinned at him and quickened his pace. He wanted to find Steve and do something. Anything to break the boredom. And he had some fun ideas in mind.

When he crept up to the study, he found something extremely unexpected. There was Steve, lying down on the couch, fast asleep, with a book resting on his chest. It was a very adorable sight. Tony chuckled lightly but not too much as to wake the sleeping beauty. Steve really was cute when he slept. And Tony planned to make good use of this event. He sat down on the couch, carefully to make sure Steve stayed asleep. But then Tony suddenly changed his mind. When watching his boyfriend sleep, a wave of lethargy washed over him. So he decided to lay down, if anyone asked he was totally not snuggling with him, and closed his eyes. Sleep descended like a wave crashing on the sand.

There's really no sedative like a sleeping super solider.
