The problem with their relationship was that they were both hoping for someone else. The great thing was that neither one expected much out of the other.
The thing is, Bobby knows.
He knows that she doesn't feel the same, that pressing their lips together was merely practice for something more.
He knows that neither of them will get close enough to matter.
Bobby knows that He will come back for her.
And Bobby knows he'll step down and leave them be.
Because Bobby knows that he doesn't want her either.
He wants someone else. Someone he can easily touch.
