She looked amazing. Harry spent all his time at the wedding trying not to look at her, but there she was, in her eye-catching yellow dress. After the wedding pavilion had magically transformed into a dance floor, he tried to find her. Everyone kept getting in his way.
"Harry, can you grab me some punch?' Hermione asked.
"Did you see Fleur's cousin? Watch me charm her!" Ron remarked.
Finally he found himself alone and dared to approach the dazzling girl. He had to elbow his way through a knot of admirers.
"Hello, Luna."
"Hi there, Barny". "Hi. Harry" she whispered. "Having fun"
"Yeah. I was wondering … well, I mean, do you want to dance with me, Luna?"
"I'd love to."
They took to the dance floor, Harry's hand pressed awkwardly against Luna's back.
"I'm so glad you asked me, it's nice to dance with a friend."
"Uh huh." His mind was in torment, This girl he barely knew was sending his heart racing.
"Spin me, Harry."
"What?"
"Spin me." He obliged and her skirts spun out around her, her laughing eyes meeting his as she came back to a stop.
He leaned in for a kiss.
