I wrote this ages ago way back in 2009 when I was re-watching power rangers. So I though I would Share it. I don't own Power Rangers
Before the venture
Mike walked into the hostel were his younger brother Leo was staying. He hadn't talked for Leo since he told him he was join on the terra-venture. ..Leo haven't taken it that well, not that Mike could blame him, he was the one person who Leo could alway relied on, and now he was going away, leaving him behind...leaving him alone.
Mike did feel guilty but Leo couldn't come too, Leo was a high school drop out, he fell into the wrong crowd and got into some trouble with the police. Leo was trying to trun his life around but he had had to stay behind - at lest for now. They was no reason why he couldn't come over in the next ship...
Mike knocked on the door and Leo open it "Come to say goodbye?" Leo asked somewhat coldly
"Leo..." Began Mike "I haven't cone here to fight... Can I cone in?" Leo Ste aside and Mike walked into the small room. "Leo you have to promise me something..."
"I'll be good, honest" said Leo dryly
"Look, I tried to get you on with me" said Mike "Your name is down for the next ship..."
Leo huffed "Yeh and that won't happen for the next fifty years or so" they was a paused "why do you have to go?"
"It's my job"
"You're choosing your Job over me?" Asked Leo
Mike signed "Don't make this any harder than it already is Leo, just for once listen to me" Mike was slightly surprised when Leo stay silent. "I know you better than anyone Leo, I know you can choose the right path, I know you can be great... You just got to prove it to everyone else, too yourself..."
Leo frowned "Little too late for me, look were I am, one more step from living on the street..."
Mike put a hand on Leo shoulder "It's going to be tough, but you're a fighter, find a job, save some money..."
"Easy for you to say, you're the golden boy of the family... Don't look at me like that you know it's true" they was a long paused "Why does everyone give up on me?"
"I haven't, and I never will" promised Mike hugging Leo "Look we will meet again little brother"
"You swear it?"
"On my life" said Mike "Just stay out of trouble... I have to go now... Look after yourself Leo, and chose your actions wisely"
"Okay" said Leo quietly watching his brother leave. Leo signed he wanted to go too, to be with his brother... Maybe he could try and sneak on... Once they were in the air they was little they could do to get rid of him...
