Leni was walking back home through the snow-covered streets of Royal Woods, Michigan, when she spotted a familiar face nearby. That face was her younger sister, Lucy, who was apparently finishing making something. So she eagerly went to her sister's side and put on a wide smile.
"Hi Lucy!" Leni chirped, catching the goth's attention. "I didn't expect to see you outside! What are you doing here anyway?"
Then the gothic emo moved out of the way to reveal what she was working on was a grave... for the year 2016.
"I'm making a grave for the year 2016," Lucy answered, flashing a little smile. "According to Lincoln, the year of 2016 will leave and 2017 will take its place, so I figured it was the least I could do for a year that's about to die."
The fashionista simply gave Lucy an "are you serious?" look. "I don't think the grave's going to be necessary, darling," she said, brushing Lucy's hair.
