Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters.
Raoul watched his young bride as she slept. They were married a month and were now nearing the end of their honeymoon in Italy. Venice was just place Christine needed to keep
the grotesque Angel of Music from her mind.
Or so Raoul thought. No shadowy misfortunes or unexplained fears happened of late since their marriage. But both he and Christine knew the present harmony was not going to last
forever. They both knew Erik wasn't gone from their lives altogether-even if the Phantom disappeared after the ruination of the Paris Opera House. The Phantom of the Opera just did not
give up or give in that easily; and not without a fight. Although the Opera Populare was undergoing reconstruction, Raoul insisted Christine quit her employment there. And Christine
readily agreed.
Christine stirred a little, pulling Raoul from his thoughts. Soon the staff would be scurrying about preparing for the young couple's departure back to Paris, where Raoul's inherited
estate was located. Both he and Christine were a bit excited to return home. She was anxious to visit with Meg and Madame Giry.
I found this amongst many other unfinished stories and short-stories and felt like posting it. What are your thoughts? I'm not sure how to continue this story, so any help would be much appreciated! PLEASE R&R!
