Author's note: I started writing this on 11th Apr for AkaKuro... I didn't complete it... Then I rewrote it today evening... And now I'm done. This WAS supposed to be a one-shot... Oh well... As for my other stories... I'm writing it, don't worry!

Act 0: Prologue

"How is Sei?" Akashi Tetsuki - previously known as Kuroko Tetsuki - asked. She had long pale blue hair, which was tied into a messy bun at the side, a pair of brighter blue eyes and fair complexion. In front of her was a green head, Midorima Shintaro - the doctor, the friend, the teammate and the rival. Shintaro shook his head. "No improvements."

Tetsuki sighed and sat on the chair beside the bed. She held his hand in between hers and head resting on them. The hands belonged her husband, Akashi Seijuro. She looked up for hope - for the nth time - but just to meet that dull pair of red eyes. "Kuroko- Akashi-san, please do not-" "I won't, Shintaro... I won't..." Tetsuki repeated.

"Pardon then..." Shintaro said as he headed to the garden and out of the mansion through the backdoor. Tetsuki stood up and headed to the living room. Her expression changed immediately upon seeing the red heads twins charging towards her with a huge grin. She smiled and braced herself for the impact. "Mama!" They called out.

The twins were her children - Akashi Kaori and Akashi Kaoru. Both had their father's beautiful red hair and eyes, and of course, both are male. Kaori was more of an introvert and Kaoru was more of a extrovert. They gave their mother a bone-crushing hug and held their hands out. There was a clay model in their hands.

"Ara, is this a Sakura?" Tetsuki was impressed that Kaori had create such beautiful art. She turned to Kaoru to look at his creation. "Oh my? Isn't this a cicada? Well done both of you!" She praised. Kaoru's cicada was really real. Both had wonderful talents in art and of course, their academics too.

"Can we show them to papa too?" Surprisingly, Kaori was the one who asked. Tetsuki felt a pang on her heart as she heard the question. She nodded. "Of course, but certainly not now. Wouldn't you want to paint it?" Tetsuki suggested. The twins' eyes shined with inspiration and dashed towards the crafting room. The long corridor, which seemed to have no ends, made Tetsuki felt lonelier.

About to take another step towards the crafting room, too, she heard a voice, an awfully familiar voice. "Is anyone there?" 'Sei!' Tetsuki brightened, turned and opened the door to confirm her thoughts. Yes, there Seijuro was, sitting upright with a hand on his head.

"Sei, you scared me there! When Shintaro said you have no improvements, I thought... I thought..!" Tetsuki paused to contain her excitement. Something seemed strange. Seijuro wasn't like 'usual'. "Sei..?"

Seijuro looked up and red eyes were locked on Tetsuki's blue ones. 'Strange...' She thought before something struck her. "... Sei... Do you know where is this?" She was shivering, scared to know the answer but already knew.

Seijuro shook his head. He was shivering like Tetsuki.

That feeling... Those red eyes...

They were filled with that feeling; It was fear.

"Where am I?" Seijuro finally asked.
