Chain Reaction
Summary: If it meant that she will breathe her last, then he would, too. HarukaxTakane. Oneshot.
A/N: Prepare yourself for the tears.
"Why," Ene looked down as her brilliant blue hair slowly turned black. She looked up at the eyes of her assailant, the one who's responsible for her death and for the death of her comrades as well. As she slowly regain her original form, she asked, "Why did this have to happen to us, Haruka?"
Breathing her last as she fell, she gave a sad smile, "I-i'm sorry for everything and I... I... Love you... Haruka..."
"Taka-" Black Konoha shouted as the girl's eyes closed but stopped midway before his face contorted into a series of different emotions. There was murderous rage, there was sadness, there was a hint of melancholy and chaos. So much painted on the canvas.
After he paused, there were silence all through-out, and Black Konoha gave out a eerie laugh as he looked on at the corpses of the former members of the Mekakushi Dan. He looked at them and sneered, "So unsightly."
"S-stop!" Once again, Black Konoha cried out, his voice becoming a bit distorted. At this moment, tears were beginning to fall from his eyes. Tears that were alien to him. As he struggled, he heard himself saying, "This... This is enough."
He found his eyes widening as his hand held the gun up to his brain and a few moments before he triggered it, he walked up to Takane's corpse and said, "I love you too, Takane."
Bang!
A/N: Oh my god, my eternal feels for this pairing. I MEAN seriously, they didn't manage to be together in their first route, ended up as beings that aren't human and THEN Haruka, being Black Konoha, was the one who was going to kill Ene? That was so screwed-up. Very beautifully screwed up. I wrote this while listening to Yuukei Yesterday and it wasn't really surprising to see myself crying. I hope they have better fate on the next route. Which I would wait on and wish for.
