You're gone now

Beyond my reach

Beyond my touch

I let you leave

And that was my worst mistake

I loved you with all of my heart

But you still went to her

Did you even love me at all?

I don't know

I thought we had something but it looks like I was wrong

You died in a car accident

You didn't know that she slipped something into your drink

Here I am on the side of the road

Your head in my lap as you try to speak but start caphing madly

I try to tell you that it would be alright

But even I know that the ambulance won't make it in time

Why did you insist on dying when I needed you most

I needed your support, your love, and your warmth

But you left me in the dark, the cold, and with the hopeless

So here I am where you died on the side of the road

Laying next to your tombstone, crying

For now I'm about to die

Of a broken heart

I love you and I always will
