Tails' weird revival.
This take place during Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Evil Dr Robotnik was up to his old tricks again turning animals into robots in his quest to take over the world. But Sonic and Tails were already on the case, they had been collecting Chaos Emeralds from the special stages to help defeat the evil mad scientist. They had collected their fourth chaos emerald and had exited back into Casino Night Zone.
Tails hadn't been much of a help, he was constantly getting hit by the mines and not collecting much of the rings.
Nevertheless, Sonic gave a thumbs up to a run down, bruises all over Tails and said.
"Good work, buddy. Things are going really well!"
"Sonic…..I can't go on much longer…..I…." Tails then collapsed onto the floor.
"TAILS!" Sonic shrieked. Sonic could never forgive himself if he allowed his best friend to die.
"C'mon Tails….Get up…..I….." Sonic put his hand to Tails hand for a pulse. Nothing. He put his head to his stomach. No heartbeat. He then looked at Tails head. He was staring blankly with his eyes half closed. He was dead. And not just dead. DEAD dead. He had used up his last life. As he wasn't then just standing by Sonic.
"NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! !" Sonic screamed. He then saw a 1up monitor box a short distance from him. Cruel Irony. He then sobbed even more.
But then an idea came to him. "Maybe I could…would it work ?…." he thought. Sonic then ran to the box. Lifted it up with all his strength. It was heavy. He then carried it over to Tails' dead body. He then threw down the box and smashed the monitor all over Tails' dead body.
Tails eyes then opened. He….HE….WAS…..ALIVE AGAIN!
"Tails!" said a happy Sonic.
Tails coughed. "Hi Sonic….I'm here…."
"You're alive! I thought you died for good! So I got a 1up monitor and smashed it on your body."
"That was a good idea, and most of my injuries are healed. Can you do just one thing for me?"
"Anything."
"Take me to a doctor, I've got bits of smashed plastic and glass in me. I'm now gonna pass out. " Tails then passed out. This time alive.
Sonic was still happy for the revival of his friend.
