'Alright!' yelled Naruto as he walked down the street, hands behind his head and grinning like an idiot,'I've trained so hard today, so I think I deserve a good bowl of ramen!'

Hinata, who was sneaking behind him, nearly had a heart attack when she heard him shout. Perfect, she thought, Step 1: Naruto-kun will go into the shop and sit down. Complete. Now for Step 2: I will transform into Sakura-chan.

Naruto was enjoying his third bowl of ramen by the time Hinata managed to get hold of her nerves.

Hinata, who had now transformed into the pink-haired ninja Naruto had a crush on, nervously sat down next to Naruto.

'More, please, old man!', said Naruto as he held out his bowl, without looking up.

'What about this young lady next to you?' asked the old man.

'Huh?' said Naruto, squinting his eyes in confusion.

Finally, Naruto had the sense to look up to see what the old man was talking about.

'Um.. hello .. Naruto-kun…' squeaked Hinata.

'Ahhh!' yelled Naruto, spilling his newly filled bowl of ramen down his front. Colour flooded into his face. Dammit, thought Naruto, why do I have to act so clumsy in front of Sakura? 'Hey, what are you doing here, Sakura?' inquired Naruto.

'I … um …..uh…' WAIT, I don't have a legitimate reason for Sakura to be here!? panicked Hinata, I thought I went through this a hundred times at least!

'Sakura? Are you okay?' asked a concerned Naruto.

'Yes yes! I'm fine, Naruto-kun.' said Hinata.

'You're acting strange.' said Naruto, squinting up his face. He went back eating his ramen as though nothing had happened.

'Hey, there! Would you like something to eat or not?' asked the old man.

The two of them sat eating their ramen.

'Naruto-kun…..'

'Hmm?'

'Umm... I …. I … I … really like you, Naruto kun!' exclaimed Hinata, her eyes wide and shining.

'Nani?! I thought you hated me, Sakura-chan!'

Crap, thought Hinata, I messed up.

'But I don't mind now that you've changed your mind,' said Naruto, scratching his head. 'In fact, I quite like-'

'Excuse me?!' said another voice.
