Jack smashed the half-empty bottle of alcohol into the wall when he caught sight of the intruder.
"How dare you? How dare you show your face? After what you did! Get out!"
The girl in the red hoodie shook her had sadly but didn't move. That angered Jack even more.
"Are you deaf? I said, get out! You're not welcome here! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" he screamed over and over, until his throat became raw.
The girl still haven't moved, and it didn't look like she ever planned to. She just kept looking at him with teary eyes, and it simultaneously broke his heart and fuelled his anger.
"I mean it. I don't care how can you be here, but if you don't leave in the next three seconds, I will make you. And it will be painful, Rosie," he growled.
The teenager stood up and took a step, but not toward the door.
"Jack," she whispered sadly, and touched his arm.
And that was the point when Captain Jack Harkness snapped. It suddenly became too much, the pain, the crimes, the sins and the memories overhelmed him without warning, and he let his emotions control his movements.
A small part of him knew that later he would regret his actions, but the feeling of his fist colliding with the fragile skin washed all of his guilt away. He continued to punch, hit, slap and kick the young woman who destroyed his life and sentenced him to eternity.
After what seemed forever, he came to his senses, stopped his assault and fell down on his knees, next to the broken body of the woman he once loved.
With a strength that belied her current state, she lifted herself and draw Jack into a tight embrace.
Cradled in her arms, Jack Harkness wept for the loves he lost and the ones he was going to lose while cursing the girl holding him.
While standing on the Gamestation and while cradling her friend, Rose Tyler wept for the man whose choices she took away.
