Hello fellow Warehouse 13 fans! I absolutely love Warehouse 13! I watch each new episode at least five times! Anyways, I've been trying to come up with a fanfiction for Warehouse for awhile now and this just popped into my head when my sister was having a lemonade stand. This story is a random oneshot conversation between Pete and Myka that can happen at basically any time in the show, although probably more around the beginning episodes. Oh! I'm just going to call them Pete and Myka, firstly because I don't feel like looking up how to spell their last names, and secondly they are relaxing at Leena's bed and breakfast after retrieving an artifact and I feel by now they are a little less formal. Also for the purposes of this fanfic Myka doesn't like lemonade. Just go with it.

Disclaimer-Trust me, I don't own Warehouse 13. Although wouldn't it be awesome if I did?

"Do you want some lemonade?" Pete asked Myka, carrying two glasses of cold looking lemonade over to where his partner was sitting.

"No, thanks, I'm good," Myka told him, not bothering to look up from the book that she was reading.

"What?" Pete said, coming to sit down in the chair next to her, "why not?"

"I don't like lemonade," Myka told him, getting annoyed at the interruption and considering going up to her room.

"Well of course you don't like this lemonade," he told her, stealing her book away from her, "this lemonade is the powdery crap."

"Thank you for informing me," she said sarcastically while attempting to get her book back.

"Um-hm. The best kind of lemonade is homemade."

"I've never tried it."

"You've never tried homemade lemonade?"

"Never."

"You're telling me that you haven't ever had a lemonade stand as a kid?"

"No and I don't see what the big deal is."

"It's not just that the lemonade tastes better, it's making it with your own hands. It's the smell of the lemons. It's the people that you make it with and the work you put into it."

"It seems like it's a lot more than just the lemonade."

"It is a lot more than just the lemonade. Making lemonade is a perfect principle to be applied in real life."

"Oh yeah, tons of people have asked me to make lemonade for them."

"Let me finish. The lemon itself is interesting because it is perfect to compare to people. A lemon smells very sweet, but tastes very sour. With people, many people are different on the outside than they are on the inside. When you make lemonade you add water and sugar to the sour lemon juice to make it something better. You have to do that in life all the time to make the best out of a bad situation."

"Very wise. Is there any other food that is so metaphoric, oh wise one?"

"Yes actually. Have you ever really thought about cookies?"

So what did you think? I don't really know where I was going with this, but I like it. I think that this conversation would be located sometime between Resonance and Magnetism, because it seems to relate to their relationship about then. If you feel my characters are a little too OOC than just imagine them in an alternate universe. I had I hard time getting a good grip on them. Anyways, please review.
