Watching the Talent

A/N- another Harry/Draco fan fiction here, just a quick one shot that came to me when I was thinking about watching my favourite footballers play football in their shorts and tee-shirts, I love it! Anyway I figured the same will apply to Quidditch. Same things really, Harry Potter and that whole world don't belong to me, they are the creation of the awesome JK Rowling, so on with the story now…..

When Harry went to the Quidditch pitch it wasn't always to practise. Every Friday night he could be found standing at the said of said pitch but he kept himself hidden in the shadows, not that it would be a disaster if the figure on the broom above him knew he was there, they had been seeing each other for almost a year, no it was that Harry loved to see hi doing what he loved when he thought no one was watching him.

Harry pulled the Winter cloak tighter around him as a strong, cold wind swept its way through the stadium. As he watched him fly over head Harry thought about how graceful he looked in the air, some thought Victor Krum was a fantastic flyer but people hadn't watched this blonde in recent years. Yes I say blonde because even from here and through this dreadful Winter weather you could still see the white - blonde of his hair racing around so fast that Harry lost him a few times.

Harry shifted his weight onto his other foot and cleaned the mist from his glasses as the figure, kitted out in green practised already perfected dives and swerves. Harry let his mind wonder as the weather started to worsen but he didn't care because he was thinking about the day he finally got his soul mate. Almost a year ago, well a year ago come Christmas Day he had been walking back to the common room alone when he heard a shout from behind him,

"Hey Harry!"

"Yeah?" Harry asked, turning around.

"Wait up." and that's what he did until the slightly taller boy drew level with him then they continued walking.

"You called me Harry." it was a statement, not a question.

"That's your name, isn't it?"

"You've never called me that before."

"There's a lot of things I've never done before." the blonde said as he stopped Harry in the corridor and then said,

"There's a lot of things I've wanted to do for a long time, this is one of them." then without warning Harry felt himself being pushed back against the wall and soft lips on his own, he was surprised that this was actually happening but he wasn't surprised that he liked it and he was kissing back, sliding his hands through the soft blonde hair as pale hands found their way around his waist.

Harry's thoughts has been so deep he didn't realise that the rain had began to pour rather heavy and that his robes were soaked and he couldn't see through his glasses. Once he sorted his glasses out he realised that the pitch was empty, he began to look around until he felt two hands on his sides,

"How long have you been stood there this time?" was whispered into his ear.

"Not long." he answered, turning around before he realised what his boyfriend had said,

"This time? You know I've been here before?"

"Every time." was the answer he got."

"Then why didn't you say anything?" he asked as the wrapped his own arms around the slender form in front of him.

"I don't know, I guess I kinda liked it."

"Sometimes you are a totally mystery to me Draco Malfoy."

"One of the things you love about me, right?"

"Yeah, one of many." Harry told him as he stared into those liquid silver eyes before closing the gap between them to feel those soft, perfect lips on his own.
