"What a beautiful night, aru." China mumbled as he sat down beside his little brother, Japan, on the steps of his house. Japan nodded in agreement. "It sure is nice to get to do this again. Not many people come to visit anymore, aru." Japan looked at him with concerned eyes. "No one?" He questioned. "No one, aru. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, they have all grown up too. Just like you, aru."

Japan looked at the ancient country with pity. 'He did so much to raise us, and I'm the only one that still visits?' China glanced up at the sky and let out a light giggle. "I remember when you were little. I would let you braid my hair, then we would go out to eat and everyone thought I was your mother, aru." Japan chuckled remembering those days. "When you found me in the woods, I thought you were a woman at first." They laughed together at that. "It doesn't Surprise me, aru."

Japan picked up his green tea to take a sip. "I remember when you saw that baby panda. And how you tried to ride it like a horse, aru. But then again, you were only 4 years old, aru." The Japanese man blushed. He remembered how he had been scolded, but even china couldn't help but laugh. "you were always such a strange kid. So smart, quiet, curious, you were quite the child, aru. And I loved it all." China looked down still smiling.

The Chinese man's face grew sadder though. "Then, you started growing up, aru." He looked to the ground. "You became so successful, and I was proud, aru. But, I missed you being little, needing my help. Now, you're all grown up and you don't need your big brother anymore, aru." Japan looked at the saddened man. He hated seeing his brother like this. Every time he reminisced, this happens. "I remember tucking you in at night, aru. You would get scared and ask me to stay with you, and I would sit there until you fell asleep, aru. "China's eyes were glazed with a light sheam of tears. Japan contemplated on what to say. His brother really missed him. It was painful to see his in such a sad state. "I-if it would make you feel better... You- you can tuck me in tonight." Japan whispered. The long haired man looked up from the ground to his little brother, a bright smile on his face. "Yes, I would like that, aru."
