"Emmett, just give it back" Edward snarled at his 'older' brother. This had been going on for hours now this constant battle of wits, Edward snarling at his older brother and Emmett simply grinning back at his sibling.
"No! You always, always get what you want and anyways finders keepers" replied Emmett smugly, Edward was used to Emmett's two year old "it's mine attitude", but when it was something of Edwards that he loved and cherished as much as he did this, it made his blood boil figuratively of course.
"Just give it back! God Emmett! How old are you?! Two?! "Emmett had always felt as though Edward was the one who got all the good stuff, the one who never did any wrong. Apart from falling for a human, but that was quickly brushed under the carpet when they all got to know Bella and Emmett really did grow to love Bella.
"You don't understand do you Eddy-kins? You may have seen it first but I, Emmett McCarty Cullen got it first" Edward was getting angrier and angrier as Emmett's shit-eating grin got bigger and bigger as the hours past.
"This is getting ridiculous now" muttered Alice to the rest of her family who'd been watching since the argument began.
"I Agree... replied Rosalie, sighing and drumming her perfect blood red nails against her cheek.
Carlisle, the compassionate and calm Cullen wasn't the type to get mad, but this argument was absurd and his sanity had been worn during this squabble.
"That is it!" screamed Carlisle marching over to them both and snatching the object from Emmett's hands. "I am the dog, Emmett you are the iron, Edward you're the boot!"
Just as the boys were about to protest to this, Esme spoke up.
"Any way boys it's just a silly game of monopoly" Which then angered both Cullen boys yet again and another argument ensued as to whether monopoly was indeed just a silly game.
"This is going to be one long day" sighed Jasper who was currently watching his mother hit his brothers heads together.
