Authors Note: This is being moved from my old dormant account. I wrote this in my Geography Class back in the Spring of 2011. I rewrote it from my notes that day, it was also posted that day. I have edited it slightly.

Her head rested on his shoulder as she watched him sleep. It had been six months since she had finally come to her senses and left the one man she had known nearly her whole life. Though, she had no intention of ever falling again, and yet, here she was, wrapped in the arms of another man. A man she had started falling for before she herself knew it and yet everyone else around her, including her ex, knew. Not that he was anymore covert about his own love life, that is, out side of their life together. That the one the two of them had was falling apart at the seems for far longer than she cared to acknowledge. Thus the fights had only been growing steadily worse.
She remembered how she ended up here, in the middle of the desert. It had been after the last fight she had had with Zechs. It was that last fight that they had basically come to an agreement; it was best she left. Zechs had admitted to an affair and he told her that he knew how she felt for the other blond. For the young man that slept beside her. The one that found her sitting alone in the Sanc Kingdom airport, sobbing as she awaited the plane that would take her somewhere, anywhere, so long as she was no longer in the Sanc Kingdom.
She had told no one of her predicament. She had just packed the small bag and had left with what little money she possessed. It had only been by chance that he had found here sitting there and it had only been by chance that they both had a ticket for the same destination. When he had asked where she would be staying, she told him she did not know that she would figure it out once they landed. To that he had told her that she was to stay with him, for as long as she wished.
She declined. She explained that she had little to her name and that she did not want to be a burden. He swiftly informed her that such was not the case and that he expected nothing in return, just her company. He then took her ticket from her hand, went up to the ticket counter and had her ticket upgraded to first class. He took her in, he clothed her, he fed her, he loved her. It was not the romantic love that she had longed for, but it was a love that she willingly accepted and that was all that mattered to her.
It had only been a few weeks ago that she had started sharing his bed. She remembered the night that had changed their entire relationship, everything she thought she knew about his feelings for her, changed in the blink of an eye. She found out everything that she needed to know in that single first kiss. It had been an accident, a matter of both their guards being down, but after the deed had been done, neither one regretted the action. If they had, they never would have continued in the way that they had.
She felt something slide slowly up her arm and her attention flew to the sensation only to find that his hand had moved up to her shoulder and then trailed right back down. She turned back to his face and found him staring lovingly at her, a smile on his face. He took his free hand and put it under her chin, bringing her face closer to his own so that he could kiss her.
