First story please review so I can understand what I need to work on to make my stories better for you guys.
As the shining rays of the sun crept into the den, my eyes began to wander. My eyes caught the sight of my mate asleep at my side. Her chest rising and falling as she silently slept beside me. Her warm body pressed against mine, sharing the heat of our burning love for each other. There is not another wolf in the world like her. Never can there be a wolf that is more beautiful than her, for she is the only wolf I could ever love so much. She thinks she's not much but she means more than the world to me.
My love for her is enough to set the world afire but that fire could easily be gone if hers was gone too. My heart would turn to ice with the death of her. It would shatter in pieces too small to ever rebuild what was ever there. I remember being on the edge of that tragic fate just one year ago. My heart had lost its fire and turned to ice as she lay before me motionless with the fire within her still burning ever so lightly. But as simple as it is to extinguish that flame, it is also as simple to bring it back to life. As the fire in her burns, as does mine; as the fire in her dies, as do I.
If her love for me were to ever die, my love for her would never. For despite anything she could do to me, my love for her would never die. My heart may easily turn to ice from her fire not being beside me, but deep within that flame would never die.
It is all such a frail and fragile system, for this bond is the center of my life. This bond is nothing like the bond between friends or siblings, it is beyond more.
As her eyes slowly opened, I saw her magnificent golden eyes. They were one of the most perfect things about her. I continued to stare into her eyes causing a smile to form across her gentle face along with mine. Her smile only caused my burning love for her to roar with passion and my body to melt away like ice on a summer day.
I leaned closer to her and touched my nose to hers trying to express to her how much she meant to me. But I would never be able to express my love for her in words or actions. It doesn't even matter though, because she already knows how much I love her. It is a love indescribable; it is only felt and known. As I pulled my nose away, I looked into her gorgeous eyes once again before saying the only three words I would only be able to say to her:
"I love you"
So please leave a review and tell me what you think of this short little story. It would mean so much to me.
