Fathers Day
Chapter one: The Iris Message
Grover POV
It's the second day at camp for this summer, and me, Percy, and Annabeth were sitting on Half-blood Hill. Percy was telling us about his school year and how proud he is on not blowing his school up for once. That's when we got the Iris message.
The message showed someone that everyone thought was dead. Someone that I love and hadn't seen in a long time. My Father.
I was shocked beyond words. He shouted my name. I couldn't answer. I thought that maybe I was dreaming. Nope.
"Dad…."
I manage to get out. Percy and Annabeth seemed just as shocked as me.
"Grover, Annabeth, Percy! You must help me! I've been captured by Kronos! He has been released!"
Then, the imaged faded.
"Dad!!"
I cry out in fear.
"Grover! Are you alright?"
I couldn't tell who had asked that. I felt dizzy and it looked like the world was spinning. Then everything went black.
I woke up on the couch in the Big House and I saw Percy, Annabeth, and Chiron standing over me, looking worried.
"Hey man, you alright?" asked Percy.
"Yeah. It's just that…all of those years, I thought that he was gone. Now he is captured by Kronos."
Annabeth puts a hand on my shoulder. "Relax. We'll get him back."
"Yeah! We got a quest to go with you and find him!" Percy chimes in.
"You guys are the best friends ever."
