The 2018 Yearly 365 Challenge
Prompt #3 (Location) Riverdale
He looked around trying to find the person that he had come here to locate. A firm line his lips were in as he quicken his pace through the crowded hallway. His hands jammed in his pants pockets. He nodded firmly as he saw the person whom he had come to see. He stopped behind her at the open locker. "Hello Betty."
Betty's head turned and she smiled. "Harvey what are you doing at Riverdale High?" She frowned in concern as she took in Harvey's experssion. She turned around to face him fully. "What's wrong Harvey?" Her chest hurt as she waited for him to say that Sabrina was in trouble.
Harvey swallowed. "You need to tell Archie to leave Sabrina alone." He spoke in a low voice. "He doesn't have the write to come to Greendale and demand her to do his bidding." Anger laced his voice.
Betty tightened up. "Harvey ..."
"Don't Harvey me Betty." Harvey growled. "Don't! Just don't try to tell me that Archie is in a bad place. He theatened her."
Betty's frown deeped.
Harvey sighed as he leaned against the locker. "Look Betty; I'm worried here. I know that Sabrina is a half witch; and she can very well take care of herself. But this thing with Archie ... I just thought you should know about it all." His face softened. "You need to tell Archie to stay out of Greendale. To stay away from Sabrina."
"I wish I could do that; Harvey." Betty whispered. "Archie refuses to talk to me."
"Harvey why are you here?" Veronica walked up with a smile. She tensed up as she found how tense Betty truly was. She frowned as she wrapped her arms around her girlfriend; and placed her head against Betty's. She turned angry eyes onto Harvey; but her heart broke at how frightened; and loss Harvey was. "Why are you here Harvey?" She managed to get out in a low voice.
"I thought perhaps I could get Betty to talk to Archie; and calm him down. He came to Greendale and decided to try to threaten Sabrina into helping him." Harvey sighed deeply as he straightned once more. "Sabrinia doesn't know that I came here. She can fully handle Archie Andrews on her own." He looked meaningfully into the sea of blue green eyes; "But I figured that Archie's true family may be able to get into his heart and soul; to get him to see reason once more."
Betty lowered her eyes.
"Archie has turned away from us." Veronica spoke in a heated voice. "Once he finally accepted that my heart and soul belonged solely to Betty. That I didn't love him the way he loved me. That I didn't desrie him the way he desired me."
Cold chills rolled down his spine. "You think he went to Sabrina in order to get magic to change that fact?"
Betty pulled out of Veronica's arms. "Of course not! Archie would never do that. Not to me. Not to anyone." She shook her head. "No whatever Archie is demanding of magic ... it has nothing to do with his broken heart ... or desire to have Veronica."
"Then what is it then?" Harvey spoke up. Shaking his head.
"I don't know." A lone tear rolled down her cheeks. "Go back home Harvey. We'll deal with things here."
"If I hear about Archie lashing out at either of you girls; then I'll be back to deal with him personally," Harvey tightly nodded.
Veronica nodded tightly towards Betty's cousin's boyfriend. She trusted him in protecting Betty against whatever was out there that wanted to harm her. It looked like Archie; one of her best friends; whom was truly more like a brother to her was on that list.
