"I've had it up to here with your messes, Ronald Weasley," Hermione raged as she stomped through his flat. Her feet kicked at empty bottles, rotting food and discarded dirty clothes. "You need to do something about this," she said, picking up a soiled t-shirt.

"Come on, Hermione, it's not that bad," Ron said with a smile as he rose slightly of the couch and snatched the shirt from Hermione's fingers.

"Yes it is. I saw insects walking on the kitchen counter last night because of all the old food," Hermione screamed as she carefully stepped over a mysterious spill.

"Just use a spell and they'll stay away," Ron said with a shrug before landing back on the couch.

Hermione glared and took in his appearance. He was wearing a stained white wife-beater and his boxers as he lay in front of the TV she got for his flat. She asked, "And have you even showered this morning?"

Ron lifted his arm and took a whiff, "I'm alright. I'll take one in a few hours."

Hermione bristled and said, "You need to do something about this, Ronald!"

She started to collect some of the clothes thrown about. Some were damp and most of them smelled and not just of sweat. "When was the last time you did laundry?" she asked with a grimace.

While staring at the TV, Ron said, "Probably a month ago I picked those up from my mom."

"A month! These are a month dirty?" she said, dropping the whole pile onto the ground and rubbing her hands against her jeans. Then she froze, "What have you been doing for underwear then?"

Distractedly, Ron said, "I wear some over that aren't too dirty, or I flip them inside out."

"What!" Hermione shrieked. "But... we slept together last night, we slept together a few times before. You're telling me that those were reused underwear?"

Ron turned to look at her sheepishly, finally realizing just how horrible it must sound. "Well, I wash a few in the bathroom with some soap and hang them up to dry..."

"No, no, no," Hermione said while shaking her head. She stepped over to him, snatching the remote from his hand and turning off the TV. "I need to pay attention when I say this Ron. You've been asking me to move in with you for awhile, but I can't take this mess. I can't take this disorder. And that just broke the camel's back. I can't deal with someone who's so lazy to do their own laundry that they wear the same underwear over... That's just disgusting, Ronald. I think I should go."

He rose up off the couch, narrowly avoiding upturning a cup of sticky liquid onto their feet. Hermione jumped back out of the way, but he held her arms. "I'm sorry, Hermione. I know I'm a bit... messy but don't leave. I love you, I want to be with you and I want you to move in with me."

She shook herself out of his grasp, "I don't want move into this. I love you but I don't love this. I don't want to be the one who has to constantly clean up your messes. We're done, Ron. Please take what I said to heart though and clean up the place. This is not the right way to live." She moved towards the door to leave. Before stepping out, she said, "Wearing your dirty underwear inside-out, Ron?! Really?"
