The Fairy's Waltz

One-shot

Disclaimer - I do not own Naruto

Really short drabble…really short...vague drabble...

Yuhi house 12:00 a.m.

"Kurenai-san, would like you dance with me?"

The voice spilled out in the darkness. Crimson eyes locked briefly with a pair of deep onyx eyes, before looking down at the outstretched hand. Kurenai bit her lip as a feeling of anxiety came over. She wasn't sure to take the fairy's offer, as she never had dance practice. Itachi notices the uncertainty.

"Is something the matter, Kurenai-san?"

Kurenai is afraid to speak it, but she says it: "I-I've never knew how to dance before."

But to her surprise, Itachi gives her a warm smile.

"It's alright. I can show you."

A small smile forms on Kurenai's lips as she takes the fairy's hand. Itachi puts his arm around Kurenai's waist while she put her arm around his shoulder. Kurenai calmed herself as the fairy began to teach her the dance. She struggled to avoid stepping on Itachi's feet as they began to twirl around slowly. Kurenai couldn't help but smile all the way as she began to enjoy the dancing. Itachi smiles as he sees the feeling in Kurenai change. He slowly leans, his cheek barely touching her hair: "You're doing great, Kurenai-san."

A blush forms Kurenai's cheek. She tries to hide it, but Itachi notices it and chuckles. As the two slowed to a rest, Itachi leans in once more. He brings Kurenai's head closer to him, which made Kurenai blush once again. He gently caressed Kurenai's cheek before pressing his lips on her cheek. Kurenai froze. Itachi then straightened up and spread his wings. Confused, Kurenai took a step forward as she reached out. Itachi gently takes her hand and smiles.

"I'll be going back now, but I'll be back when the full moon comes."

Kurenai squeezes Itachi's hand. She doesn't want him to go. But at the same time, she realizes that Itachi has duties to do back at his home, the fairy realm. She releases his hand and stared at Itachi once more. He smiles and strokes her hair once more before flying into the night air. He looks back, staring into her crimson eyes, and whispers: "I'll be back, when the full moon appears."

Then he flies off, his wings casting off of the moon's light. Kurenai stares after him, her hand on the cheek where he kissed it. Then she smiles and enters her house. The next time, he will come, she will definetely accept his dance.

I think I did bad on this one-shot. T_T I Maybe I'll do another story maybe involving adventurers (Kurenai) and artifacts idk, send some suggestions . Please Read and Review.
