Tears.

Crying is something Kisame never does.

Crying is a sign of being sad,

being vulnerable,

being weak.

And that was something Kisame couldn't afford himself to.

There was no space for any weakness,

weakness means death in this world.

The shark doesn't remember the last time he let the sadness overwhelm him.

But the day Itachi died,

Kisame has truly cried.

He barely showed emotion when he was first told of this,

but when he was left alone in peace,

in his personal space,

tears started rolling down his face.

He tried to leave no trace,

trace that he was broken, dead inside,

his eyes couldn't be left dried,

he cried and cried.

Itachi was more than a partner,

he was his friend, his brother.

He trusted him with his life,

who's gonna save him now from a strife?

He knew Itachi wouldn't want him to be like this,

but Uchiha he couldn't not miss,

'If you didn't want me to cry,

why did you die?'

'Why did you leave me alone?'

'I don't want to be on my own.'

But with that truth Kisame had to be faced,

because Itachi couldn't be replaced.

Every tear someone spills has a meaning,

and Kisame was more than happy that all of his heart-bleeding,

all of his tears, were spread on Itachi.
