The two of them looked around, the busy crowd rushed passed them, not noticing the blonde and the man in leather. The blonde looked around, taking in everything, it was her first time to the area – sure she had visited this planet before but it was her first time to this continent.
"Where are we?" she asked.
"Earth. The year is 2004, which is nearly a year after I found you. There was a small signal of activity that we should investigate." He tapped his device; it was small in his hands but was doing the trick. They walked some of the way, and then he broke into a run, stopping outside of the big shop, it said 'Henricks'.
"See, I told you. You would take me shopping eventually" He turned and rolled his eyes. Some days he wondered why he invited her to join him. They got in though a locked door, the man lead them to the basement. The blonde could feel them, it wasn't the normal feeling she got with most of the things she faced – maybe it was because she was new at this game but she could sense it was different. They walked down one corridor, looking for the source of energy.
'Wilson? Wilson, I've got the lottery money. Wilson? You there? Look, I can't hang about 'cause they're closing the shop. Wilson! Uhh, come on!'
Her super hearing picked up another person. She looked around for the Doctor, he was a few steps ahead and was busy in his own thoughts.
"Doctor!" she yelled. He turned around and looked at her.
"What is it Buffy?"
"There is someone down her." He walked back to her, giving her that look saying 'stupid apes' "That way"
They ran down the hallways, Buffy could still the woman yelling at the shadows, trying to piece together the stuff that was happening to her. They opened a to see the woman, she had blonde hair, and was wearing a red jumper. The Doctor ran up to the woman and grabbed her hand, and saying one word.
"Run"
