10 YEARS AFTER ELENA LEFT
Caroline walks in with excitement "Is everything ready?" Damon has his feet on the couch with a glass of Bourbon in his hand while Stefan and Lexi are across the room having their own conversation. "Hello?!" Caroline yells
Stefan and Lexi look up and hesitantly "what?"
Caroline walks over to them "Is anyone listening to me?"
Damon angrily gets up "No Blondie, no one cares about a party or any party you throw cause they all suck."
"My partys do not suck?"
Damon laughs " the last party you had no one showed up, i had to compel people to come here and that was because stefan begged me too."
" people love my parties and my choice of party games"
" do you think anyone wants to come to a party and play pin the tale on the donkey?" damon says sarcastically " people want to drink at parties."
" we drank"
" yeah two lousy beers and thats because you gave everyone a limit" saying in a childish voice
"we couldn't play games if everyone was drunk"
" thats what makes it fun" Damon arguing
stefan walks between the middle of them "Okay calm down guys, if you want to have this party caroline then we will help." stefan looking towards lexi
Lexi quickly walks of to stefan " why are you dragging me into this" whispering
" even lexi doesn't want this party" damon argues
"Well we are going to, if this is important to caroline then we are helping"
caroline smiling "Thanks stefan"
" Fine. but don't ask me to play any of these ridicules games." damon replies
" we aren't going to play games, this will be a small little family reunion."
" A rein…what?" Damon says
" Well i talking to matt….." stefan looking upset with her " caroline?!"
" what he said he will make" caroling looking at stefan.
" Matt hasn't been home in 10 years if he hasn't come back by now he never will." stefan thinking about elena. he hasn't seen her since she left after high school graduation. he is thinking about what she may look like and be like.
"Well thats not the best part?" caroline saying happily
damon annoyed at carolines voice "What did you do"
"Everyone is coming!"
"Everyone? as in" Stefan Questioning
"Okay, Bonnie, Tyler, Matt and Jer also…." looking around to see the excitement on everyones face.
"and who" stefan asking even though he knows who she's going to say
"Elena!" Caroline says exciting. Damon looks up as if he's a dog who just saw a squirl run across the room.
Lexi walks over to caroline.
" Elena hasn't been home or even called us in years, what makes you think she's coming."
" She called"
"When" Damon asks shocked. Stefan looks at damon and gets a feeling in his stomach, a feeling he hasn't felt since the day elena left and didn't even say goodbye to him but only Damon.
"She called this morning while you and Alaric were out getting drinks"
Damon getting pissed "Why didn't you call me?!"
" The call wasn't for you or about you but anyway she said she is coming." everyone is looking at each other in disbelief. Is she really coming back? Why?
All of these questions are running through Damon and Stefan's mind. Akwared silence is filling the room. Caroline looking at Stefan and Damon " So? You interested in helping now?" Damon and Stefan look at each other as if they know what they are saying. Elena is coming back. But for what reason. Does she love Stefan or Damon? Maybe she is coming back to tell them exactly how she feels. When elena arrives the truth will be set free.
"Yeah" Stefan and Damon say but not to caroline….to each other
