Taisuke looking up into the starry sky above, they blinked restlessly every night. Taisuke like to spend the night watching them, looking for something he thought he lost. In this life, Taisuke have lost so many things. Maybe that's the reason he like to watch the stars, searching for something among them.
"Taisuke, are you home?" Taisuke can hear that soft voice and light footsteps as Megumi appear at the door, " What are you doing there?".
" Nothing" Taisuke smile at his girl.
" wow! What a starry night." Megumi stand beside Taisuke and look up to the sky.
"I've made sukiyaki for dinner." Said Taisuke.
Megumi look at Taisuke and smile, "Hm… I've always love your cooking."
" How's your day Megu?"
"Enchanted! I meet this little girl today. She was victim of a car crash. Oddly this nice little girl was so calm. She didn't even cry when I took care of her injury, kind a remind me of Tama-chan." Once again Megumi look at the sky above them.
Mitama. 5 years has gone since that day, the day when Mitama disappeared and took 'the friends' along with her. The day when Hirose gone away. After that day, Taisuke and the other 'people with power' turn back into ordinary people.
"I thing Tama already got a new home now." Said Taisuke, "and Hirose too."
"T… Taisuke… do I make you sad?" ask Megumi.
"It's ok Megu." Taisuke smile.
But suddenly Taisuke realize something when he turns his sight form the stars up above into to the girl right by his side, Megumi. Megumi who always there ever since Taisuke could remember. Megumi is the one that Taisuke has been searching for. And through all happiness and sadness in his life, something is always stays the same.
"Taisuke! Don't look at me like that!"
"Megu! What a stupid me!"
"What are you talking about?" ask Megumi.
"Megu, I suppose to say this long time ago." Taisuke take a deep breath and say, "I love you Megumi, I want to be with you and I want to protect you."
Megumi's face turn into pink, "isn't that what you've been doing until today? We've been together for almost 5 years now Taisuke."
"That's why Megumi…" Taisuke take Megumi's hand with his healthy right hand, "Marry me."
Megumi hold her breath, "I… I thought I have to wait forever to hear that words from you."
"You've been waiting?!"
"for you, I would wait forever." Megumi smile.
Once again Taisuke look up to the starry sky, but now he know, what he's been looking for is not there but here, right by his side.
