The Beast
Dawn was afraid more afraid than she had ever been in her life, the beast had her trapped the, house was in darkness the doors and windows were locked. As she hid in the corner behind the chair a soft growl from across the room made her shiver. The beast was moving, Dawn knew she couldn't fight it, couldn't outrun it, that it could hear the slightes noise and could see in the dark. She had a plan she could see a dark shape moving about the room sniffing the air trying to find her, slowly she took the cushion of the chair and threw it across the room.
The beast was startled and snarled turning round faster than anything dawn had seen before the beast tripped and fell over the coffee table.This was her chance, leaping to her feet Dawn ran for the stairs running so fast she almost tripped, she ran up the stairs two at a time and threw herself inside Buffy's room slamming the door behind her she reached for the key to lock the door and knew the beast had tricked her the key was missing.
Dawn paniced looking round the room not know what to do then she noticed the chair next to Buffy's bed grabbing it she wedged it under the door handle she'd seen it done on tv lots of times, did it really work she wondered. She pressed the side of her head up aagainst the door listing for any noise that would warn of the beast. When the noise finaly came it came from behind her a soft menacing growl screaming Dawn spun around but it was to late the beast attacked.
The beast had won as it always did. leaving the house by the back door it had climbed the tree outside Buffy's window and slipped silently into the room. Dawn felt herself picked up and thrown onto the bed the beast attcked without mercey.
Dawn had aways been ticklish and the beast knew it she scream hystericaly as her feet ribs and under her arms were attacted over and over again. a few minuets later the two sister lay on the bed still laughing tears rolling down Dawns face.Buffy loked at her sister "wed better get to sleep before the real beast comes home" Dawn wiped her eyes and looked at Buffy "luv you" she said Buffy kissed her sister goodnight "luv you too"
