I was sitting next to the frozen over lake and smiling at my extremely cute and handsome boyfriend, Percy Jackson, the only half-blood son of Poseidon, Savior of Olympus, Retriever of Zeus' master bolt_ well if I told you all of his titles we'd be here all day.

All of Camp Half-Blood was covered in a thick blanket of beautiful, soft, crisp-white snow.

We didn't have normal weather; it was up to Chiron and Mr. D. to determine what the camp looked like. Normally, it was roughly seventy degrees but in the winter the camp was a winter wonderland-minus the freezing temperatures.

Percy tossed a pebble onto the frozen lake, causing a gaping hole to appear. A girl ice-skating glared and refroze it.

"Leave the beautiful ice alone!" she shouted. I groaned. The daughter of Khoine irritated me to no end.

Once she skated away I was fuming.

"Let's go for a walk," Percy suggested and I raked a smile as we walked and talked about different things both silly and serious. When we stopped at the vacant training arena we started to swordfight, which due to the slipperiness of the ground was a mistake. As Percy brought the hilt of his sword near y dagger, I tried to dodge it and instead slipped and fell. I threw my arms back and protected my head.

"You okay, Wise Girl?" he asked. I nodded.

"I'm fine."

"Good," he said. "Though we're still taking you to the infirmary."

"I'm fine," I insisted. "And I don't need protecting."

"Wise Girl, I know," he said with a smirk. "Whether you want it or not though, I will always be there to protect you."

"You are such a Seaweed Brain!" I shouted.

He smiled, "I know, but I'm your Seaweed Brain. I love you."

"Love you too," he leaned in and kissed me. We spent a good five minutes just sitting on the snowy ground and kissing until the daughter of Khoine shouted:

"Love Birds, Quit making out in the arena!"

I didn't care how annoying Percy was sometimes. I loved him anyway. I always had and I always would.
