"Here you are, the heard of the Council's daughter, and you can't even make a dress. Pathetic."
I abruptly stopped. I was going to Cal by teacher's order; for a "smell powder" for the lesson. I have to cross the whole school corridor because of it. Elodie's voice sounded so clean so probably she was standing near the door.
"Look, Elodie, I don't want to fight. So just... just leave me along and let me work on my dress, okay?"
But Elodie wasn't remotely finished with her.
"Why do you even care about making a dress for the ball?"
Well, honestly, I don't like when somebody else's conversations are overheard or eavesdropped. But I came up closer to the door. Let's think that I can find out more details because my girlfriend took part in this conversation.
"Who have you got to look pretty for? Archer?"
Oh, nice. I'm the center of a drama. Well, does somebody have any doubts?
I shaking head, almost moved, but latest Elodie's words made me stop.
"You think I don't see the way you look at him?"
"Stop it, Elodie."
"I mean, your crush on him is just so sweet. And by sweet, of course I mean tragic."
Elodie, why are you so hard with her? Oh, I were so happy if I would break it off with this damned wretch. If this mission didn't exist... Unfortunately, I couldn't do something for her. I could just hear how Elodie mixs Sophie with dirt, speaks about... no, I can't. My poor Sophie! What I can do for you?
Although it turned out that she had an idea and she didn't need a help.
"Oh, Elodie," said Sophie in a sweet voice, "don't worry about me and Archer. After all, I'mnot the one planning on having sex with him at the ball."
I almost died on this place. So what the reason that Elodie so calm last days! She stopped pester me, because prepare me to Halloween. Blimey! And what I must do now?
The laughter sounded though the door. I ran away before somebody caught me.
No. Hard "no" - if you want to eavesdays the conversations of your girlfriend, immediately kill this thought. It's very, very bad idea.
Trust me.
