You're playing what?

It had been a rocky journey, these past six months but they were finally happy. Finn finally wore Santana down to go on their first date. He took her out to a park on the outskirts of town with a basket of food and a volleyball (with the name Wilson scrawled across it). When he came to pick her up, he was stunned to see her outside of her Cheerio's outfit. She enjoyed their date, much to her surprise. Finn was so much different when he was out from under Rachel's thumb. Sure they fought, but they made up: either Finn would bring her a white lily, her favorite flower, or Santana would bake him a batch of his favorite M n' M cookies. They were different, for sure, but they worked.

Needless to say people were shocked when they walked into the school on the first day of senior year hand in hand. Not that they were trying to keep things on the down low but they weren't ready for everyone to be up in their business. Kurt knew because he was Finn's brother, and Brittany knew because she was Santana's soul sister. But they got mixed reactions from the rest of their glee friends. Puck was leery but nodded his acceptance. Rachel had a massive freak out. Mercedes kept asking Finn if he was sick or something. Blaine – who had transferred to McKinnley to be with Kurt – saw that Kurt was okay with it, so he should too. Artie rolled over to them and gave Finn the "you hurt her and I break your face" talk; he was dating Brittany, and felt this weird connection to Santana. Mr. Shue held them back after Glee to give them his well wishes and encouraged them to ignore all the negative reactions.

And they did. Finn was now headed to Santana's house now with a container of his mom's chicke noodle soup and overnight bag. She was sick and her parents were away for a month long business trip. Finn's mom was rather accepting of him staying with her so he packed for a few days. When he got there, he fished the key from the hanging pot just high enough for him to reach. Finn let himself in and went up to her room. The sight that he was met with made his jaw drop.

His girlfriend, Santana Lopes, HBIC, was wearing his football t-shirt, sitting in the middle of her bed, playing a Gameboy. This wasn't even a new kind, but on old school, game boy color. There was a blue cartridge loaded into the back. "You're playing pokemon."

Santana's head snapped up and looked at her boyfriend, who had quite a shocked but lustful book in his eye. "Um, no." she tried to hide the game but the damage was done.

"Yes, you are," Finn argued, putting the bag down by her bedside table and getting on the bed with his girlfriend. "You're wearing my shirt and playing pokemon… that's hot."

"It so is not," she retorted. "You weren't supposed to find out like this."

"Let me see," Finn prompted. She grudgingly handed over the game and he flipped through what she had in her party. She had a Mewtwo (72), Victreebel (69), Golem (71), Pidgeot (68), Raichu (70), and a Blastoise (73). "Damn woman, you've got the dream team."

"Well, Artie helped me out with the one, so I got him to trade me back and forth," she shrugged. As soon as she finished her statement Finn's lips were on hers, moving insistently. She managed to push him off briefly. "Finn, I'm sick."

"I don't care," he returned to the kiss. She gave into the kiss, and they sat there for a little while, just kissing. Finn pulled back when he noticed that she was starting to breathe heavy. "I brought you some soup. Do you want some now or later?"

"Hmm, later," she said, sinking back onto her pillows with her Gameboy clutched in her hands. "I just want to play pokemon and snuggle with my sexy boyfriend."

"I can definitely do that," Finn said, scooching down the bed so they could cuddle and both watch the game. Finn's life was perfect right at this very moment.
